Միխայիլ Սահակաշվիլիին զրկել են ուկրաինական քաղաքացիությունից և հիմա դրված է նրան Վրաստան արտահանձնելու հարցը: Սահակաշվիլին քաղաքական պայքար էր սկսել՝ ապագայում նախագահական ընտրություններին մասնակցելու և իշխանափոխություն անելու համար: Իրեն նշանակած Պորոշենկոյի դեմ պայքարը սկսվեց այն պահից, երբ Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահը դադարեցրեց Օդեսայի նահանգապետի լիազորությունները: Սահակաշվիլին չկարողացավ աշխատել այդ պաշտոնում, քանի որ ուկրաինական նոր իշխանությունները հներին բնորոշ օլիգարխիկ և փակ պայմանավորվածություններով չէին թողնում բարեփոխումների հնարավորություն: 

Սահակաշվիլու բավական էմոցիոնալ և հակասական կերպարը շատ քննադատությունների տեղիք է տալիս: Հիմա նա հետախուզվում է Վրաստանում և անհայտ է, թե ինչ կլինի նրա հետ, եթե նրան արտահանձնեն: Հետաքրքրական է մեկ այլ բան, որ փաստացի լինելով նոր Վրաստանի ճարտարապետը, Սահակաշվիլին այսօր զրկված է իր երկրի քաղաքացիությունից և ավելին հետախուզվում է: Սահակաշվիլին ահռելի աշխատանք է արել Վրաստանի համար: Իհարկե, անսխալական չի եղել և շատ հաճախ բարեփոխումները նրանից պահանջել են կոշտ, երբեմն էլ չափից շատ կոշտ մեթոդներ, որոնք էլ դարձան իր հակառակորդների համար համախմբման առիթ:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը չոր մեթոդներով չի աշխատում, որպեսզի իր դեմ համախմբվելու առիթ չտա: Բայց նաև բարեփոխումներ չի անում, որովհետև ոչ բավարար ներդրում ոչ բավարար քաղաքական կամք չունի: Նա նաև տեսնում է, որ Սահակաշվիլին, որ այդքան բան արեց Վրաստանի համար, այսօր հետախոււզման մեջ է և իր մնալու համար ևս մեկ ալիբի ստեղծում:

Իսկ նժարին դրված է հետևյալ հարցը ՝ քաղաքական գործիչը կամ զոհում է իրեն ՝ հանուն պետության, կամ զոհում է պետությունը ՝ հանուն իրեն: Այդպիսին է անցումային Անդրկովկասը և այս երկընտրանքից դժվար է խուսափել, եթե ժամանակին չես հեռացել: Սահակաշվիլին ընտրեց առաջին տարբերակը, Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընտրում է երկրորդը:
