Ներկայի Թուրքիայի տարածքում գտնվող պատմական Մարաշ քաղաքում հնեաբանները հայտնաբերել են Հին քարե դարին պատկանող հետաքրքական ժայռապատկերներ. այս մասին հայտնում է թուրքական arkeolojihaber.net կայքը։
Գազի համալսարանի հնաբանանության ֆակուլտետից դոցենտ Ջևդեթ Մերիհ Էրեքը լրատվամիջոցների հետ զրույցում հայտնել է, որ ժայռապատկերները կարևոր տեղեկություններ են փոխանցում Հին քարե դարի շրջանում Փոքր Ասիայի տարածքում ապրած բնիկների կենցաղի ու ավանդույթների վերաբերյալ։
Հայտնաբերված ժայռապատկերներում, մասնավորապես, մասնագետները կարողացել են տարբերակել երկու արևի, ինչպես նաև կողք կողքի կանգնած երեք մարդկանց պատկերներ։
Հիշեցնենք, որ ամիսներ առաջ էլ Թուրքիայի տարածքում գտնվող պատմական արևմտահայկական Մարդին (հայտնի է նաև Մարդա, Մարդիս, Մերտ պատմական անուններով) նահանգի Դարգեչիտ շրջանի Քոչթեփե գյուղում հնագիտական պեղումների ընթացքում 5000 տարվա թոնիր և կավագործության սարք է հայտնաբերվել։
