Իրանի նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին, ի պատասխան Պարսից ծոցում ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի նավի հետ տեղի ունեցած միջադեպի, պահանջել է Վաշինգտոնից հրաժարվել ագրեսիվ քաղաքականությունից՝ տարածաշրջանում միջազգային նավագնացության անվտանգությունը պահպանելու համար, հայտնում է ТАСС-ը:


«Եթե ամերիկացիները ցանկանում են, որ այդ տարածաշրջանը լինի ավելի կայուն, իսկ առանցքային ջրային շնչերակներն անվտանգ լինեն ամբողջ աշխարհի համար, նրանք պետք է դադարեցնեն այդ գործողությունները»,- ասել է նա:


Ռոհանին ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն 40 տարվա ընթացքում ճնշում է գործադրել, բոյկոտել է, սադրանքներ է իրականացրել Իրանի նկատմամբ, ինչպես նաև մոբիլիզացրել է տարածաշրջանի որոշ երկրների Իրանի դեմ, բայց պարտություն է կրել:


Հուլիսի 25-ին Պարսից ծոցի հյուսիսային հատվածի միջազգային ջրերում միջադեպ է տեղի ունեցել ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի նավի և Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների էլիտար կորպուսի ստորաբաժանումների պարեկային նավի մասնակցությամբ: Իրանցի զինվորականների խոսքերով՝ ամերիկյան ռազմանավը երկու կրակոց է արձակել օդ՝ իրանական նավի ուղղությամբ՝ «սադրանքի և ահաբեկելու նպատակով»: ԱՄՆ-ում պնդում են, որ իրանական նավի անձնակազմը խախտել է ծովում նավերի բախման կանխարգելման միջազգային կանոնները, երբ երեքշաբթի վտանգավոր հեռավորության վրա մոտեցել է ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի նավին:
