Ադրբեջանում հայերի նկատմամբ ատելությունը խորն արմատներ ունի, և ադրբեջանական կողմն առիթը բաց չի թողնում ատելությունն ավելի խորացնելու համար: Այս մասին հուլիսի 25-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նշեց ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը: «Ադրբեջանում մեծ պատիվ է համարվում հային կյանքից զրկելը: Ապրիլյան վայրագությունները դրանից առաջ և հետո տեղի ունեցած գործողությունները պայմանավորված են նաև հայերի նկատմամբ ատելությամբ: Ապրիլյան պատերազմի առաջին իսկ օրվանից լայնածավալ փաստագրական աշխատանք է կատարվել և կազմված զեկույցներում շեշտադրում է եղել նաև հայատյացության խնդրին»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Արման Թաթոյանը:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը նշեց, որ Ադրբեջանը մեծ միջոցներ է ներդնում և լայնածավալ լոբբիստական աշխատանք է կատարում, հետևաբար հայկական կողմը պետք է ավելի ակտիվացնի իր գործունեությունը տարբեր ուղղություններով: Արման Թաթոյանն ընդգծեց, որ այս ընթացքում հայկական կողմը բավական ծավալուն աշխատանք է կատարել, փաստահավաք գործունեության արդյունքում պատրաստվել են բարձր մակարդակի զեկույցներ և ներկայացվել միջազգային կառույցներին: ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանն ընդգծեց, որ պետք է շարունակել աշխատել բոլոր խողովակներով:

Անդրադառնալով մինչ այժմ պատրաստված զեկույցներին` Արցախի Հանրապետության մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը նշեց, որ շեշտադրումները մի քանի ուղղություններով են` հայատյացություն, քաղաքացիական անձանց նկատմամբ ռմբակոծություններ, ադրբեջանցիների վերահսկողության ներքո հայտնված հայերի նկատմամբ վայրագ դրսևորումները: «Ապրիլյան պատերազմի առաջին իսկ օրերից իրականացվել է փաստահավաք առաքելություն, հավաքագրվել է մեծածավալ տեղեկատվություն: Դրանից հետո էլ շարունակեցինք մշտադիտարկումը` ուսումնասիրելով ադրբեջանական աղբյուրները, որոնք տալիս են ապացույցներ իրենց վայրագությունների վերաբերյալ: Համապատասխան զեկույցները ներկայացվել են միջազգային կառույցներին, պետք է ընդգծեմ, որ այս գործընթացը սկիզբ ունի, բայց ավարտ չունի»,-ասաց Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանն իր մտահոգությունը հայտնեց այն հարցի վերաբերյալ, որ միջազգային կառույցների հրապարակային գնահատականներում բացակայում է հասցեականությունը: Արման Թաթոյանն ընդգծեց, որ բոլոր օղակներով աշխատանքները պետք է շարունակել ամենափոքր խախտման դեպքում հստակ արձանագրել փաստերով ու ցույց տալ միջազգային հանրությանը:
