Армения и Аргентина развивают сотрудничество на межпарламентских площадках

Диаспора для Армении – не только важный фактор в контексте налаживания отношений с другими странами, но и крепкая база для созидания глобального и конкурентоспособного армянского мира. Об этом 24 июля заявил председатель постоянной парламентской Комиссии по внешним отношениям Армен Ашотян в ходе встречи с Чрезвычайным и полномочным послом Аргентины в Армении Гонсало Урриолабейтиа.

Как сообщили Новости Армении – NEWS.am в пресс-службе законодательного органа, Армен Ашотян подчеркнул важность отношений с Аргентиной, активного сотрудничества на межпарламентских площадках и поощрения народной дипломатии. 

В свою очередь, аргентинский посол поздравил Ашотяна с избранием председателем внешнеполитической комиссии и выразил уверенность, что личные усилия и потенциал последнего позволят еще более оживить отношения между парламентами двух стран.   

В ходе встречи стороны обратились к мероприятиям к 25-летию армяно-аргентинских отношений, обсудили взаимодействие на платформах межпарламентского сотрудничества. В этом русле были обсуждены вопросы, касающиеся встречи и сотрудничества делегаций двух стран в рамках намеченной в октябре в Санкт-Петербурге Ассамблеи Межпарламентского союза.   

В ходе встречи стороны обратились к проблемам прав человека, экономического развития и двустороннего торгового оборота, к возможностям организации взаимных официальных визитов.

Армен Ашотян представил послу деятельность комиссии, работу Аналитического совета и в его рамках – возможности сотрудничества с дипломатическим представительством Аргентины в Армении.
