Գերմանիայում բնակվող Մերի Սարիկյանը Մանհայմի Ծնողների դպրոցում մրցանակ է ստացել։ Մրցույթին մասնակցող տարբեր ազգերի մայրիկների պատմություններից հաղթող է ճանաչվել նրա ներկայացրած օրակարգը։ Մասնագիտությամբ իրավաբան Մերին իր առաջնեկի՝ 8 ամսական Էմիլիի հետ այժմ Երեւանում է, երեկ հանդիպում էր կազմակերպել երիտասարդ մայրերի եւ հղի կանանց համար։ Մանկական միջոցառմանը ներկա էին նաեւ «Միսս Հայաստան-2001» տիտղոսակիր Իրինա Թովմասյանը, երգչուհիներ Անուշիկ եւ Արեւիկ Ալավերդյանները, Նելլին, ոճաբան Մարիաննա Քաբաբյանը եւ շատ ուրիշներ։
26-ամյա Մերին ամուսնությունից հետո երկու տարի է՝ բնակվում է Գերմանիայում։ Մրցույթի ժամանակ խոսել է գերմաներեն, ինչպես պատմում է՝ լեզուն սկսել է սովորել տեղափոխվելուց հետո։ Մրցույթին եղել են հետեւյալ 2 անվանակարգերը՝ «Մայրիկի լավագույն օրակարգը» եւ «Ամենածիծաղաշարժ պատմություն», դստեր հետ հաղթել է առաջին անվանակարգում.«Միշտ ասում եմ, որ մայրերին պետք են մայրեր, որ իրենց միայնակ չզգան։ Անհրաժեշտ է փոխանակվել փորձով, ինչի շնորհիվ անգամ խնդիրների դեպքում քեզ միայնակ չես զգում, քեզ հուզող հարցերի վերաբերյալ ստանում ես անհրաժեշտ պատասխաններ»։
