Ուկրաինայի արևելքում Ռուսաստանի աջակցությունը վայելող անջատողականների կողմից անկախ պետություն կազմավորելու ձգտումները նորություն չէին: Սակայն, Դոնեցկի ինքնահռչակ հանրապետության առաջնորդ Ալեքսանդր Զախարչենկոյի սադրիչ հայտարարությունը՝ Դոնեցկ մայրաքաղաքով Մալոռուսիա կազմավորելու վերաբերյալ, որն, իբր, ներառելու է ոչ միայն իրենց վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող տարածքներն, այլև ողջ Ուկրաինան, դեռ շատ երկար ժամանակ նույնիսկ Դոնեցկի անկախության նախագիծն անկատար կթողնի:
 
Մի կողմ թողնենք այն հանգամանքը, որ այս օրերին մեր հարևան Վրաստանում գտնվող Պյոտր Պորոշենկոն՝ Ուկրաինայի նախագահը, խստորեն քննադատեց այս հայտարարությունը՝ պնդելով, թե այն «Ուկրաինան մասնատելու Ռուսաստանի հերթական ծրագիրն է, որը երբեք իրականություն չի դառնա»: Մի կողմ թողնենք նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտը, ԵԱՀԿ–ն, ինչպես նաև՝ ուկրաինական ճգնաժամի խաղաղ կարգավորման բանակցություններում Ռուսաստանի պատվիրակ Բորիս Գրիզլովը, մտահոգություն են հայտնել Ուկրաինայի արևելքում Մալոռուսիա՝ Փոքր Ռուսաստան, անվամբ պետություն հիմնելու անջատողականների հայտարարությունն ու Լուգանսկի տարակուսանքը, թե՝ իրենց հետ նման նախագիծ չի էլ քննարկվել:
 
Խնդիրը հետևյալն է՝ արդյո՞ք ճմրթված թղթի կտորի վրա գրված հայտարարությունը, որ Զախարչենկոն շատ հանգիստ ասպարեզ նետեց, սեփական հանճարեղ հորինվածքն էր, թե՞, այնուամենայնիվ, Մոսկվան այսպիսով փորձել է միջազգային հանրության տրամադրությունը շոշափել՝ հետագայում կողմնորոշվելու և աշխարհի կարմիր գծերն իր համար վերջնականապես որոշարկելու հարցում: Եթե առաջինն է՝ Զախարչենկոն չէր կարող ավելի մեծ վնաս հասցնել իր երազանքին, քան՝ արեց, Պորոշենկոյի ու կոռուպցիայի մեջ թաթախված նրա կառավարության նկատմամբ վերջին շրջանում չթաքցվող հիասթափություն ապրող միջազգային հանրության բարեհաճությունը` նորից Կիևի ուղղությամբ շրջելու: Եթե երկրորդը՝ ասվածի հասցեատերը նաև Մոսկվան է դառնում, և դժվար է հավատալ անգամ, որ այստեղ այդքան անզգուշ ու ցինիկ կարող էին գտնվել:
 
Անշուշտ, ռազմական տեսանկյունից, ինչպես արևմտյան քաղաքագետներն ու մեդիան են կանխատեսում, Զախարչենկոյի հայտարարությունը որևէ իրական հետևանքի չի հանգեցնի, և ճակատային գիծն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, չի փոփոխվի: Բայց Դոնբասում և առհասարակ տարածաշրջանում լարվածությունն, իհարկե, կավելանա: Ավելին՝ չենք զարմանա, եթե այստեղ նույնպես բազմազգ ուժեր հայտնվեն, որոնք այժմ արդեն շատ կոնկրետ հիմք կունենան Կիևին ու աշխարհը ռուսական ագրեսիայից ու նրա հովանավորյալների սադրանքներից փրկելու համար:
 
Ոչ ոք Մոսկվային թույլ չի տա Ուկրաինայի արևելքում աբխազական սցենար գործադրել, և դա նույնքան արդարացված կլինի, որքան՝ ուկրաինական խելամիտ ուժերի միավորումը, երկիրը կոռումպացված հրուշակագործների, տարատեսակ բանդերականների ազդեցությունից դուրս բերելն ու նորմալ պետության կենսագործումը: Ղրիմը գուցե իսկապես այլևս կորսված տարածք է Ուկրաինայի համար, թեպետ՝ ոչ ոք չի մոռանա, որ ռուսների կողմից՝ օկուպացված: Բայց Ուկրաինան դեռ կա, և աններելի կլինի, եթե բոլոր այս խաղացողների համատեղ ջանքերով մի օր այն ուղղակի գոյություն չունենա:
