Ռուսական կողմը կշարունակի պաշտպանել Բաքվում երեք տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտված բլոգեր Ալեքսանդր Լապշինի իրավունքները և շահերը: Այդ մասին հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն՝ վկայակոչելով ՌԴ արտգործնախարարության տեղեկատվության հարցերով դեպարտամենտին:
«ԶԼՄ-ների հաղորդագրությունների համաձայն՝ այսօր Բաքվի ծանր հանցագործություններով դատարանը դատապարտել է Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացի Ալեքսանդր Լապշինին երեք տարվա ազատազրկման: Ինչպես հայտնի է, նախկինում Լապշինին ներկայացված մեղադրանքները կապված են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ այցելության հետ»,- նշել են դեպարտամենտում:
ՌԴ արտգործնախարարությունում հիշեցրել են, որ «մեր սկզբունքային մոտեցումն այդ գործին արդեն նշվել է. մենք դեմ ենք լրագրողների կամ մասնավոր անձանց կողմից այս կամ այն տարածաշրջանում այս կամ այն տարածք այցելությունների քրեականացմանը»:
«Կշարունակենք Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացու օրինական իրավունքների և շահերի պաշտպանության աշխատանքները՝ հաշվի առնելով դատարանի վճիռը: Ադրբեջանում Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատան ներկայացուցիչները պահպանում են Լապշինի և նրա փաստաբանի հետ կապերը»,- հավելել են ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ում:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Բաքվի ծանր հանցագործությունների դատարանը հինգշաբթի բլոգեր Ալեքսանդր Լապշինին դատապարտել է երեք տարվա ազատազրկման: Ինչպես նշված է դատավճռում, Ալեքսանդր Լապշինը մեղավոր է ճանաչվել 318.2 հոդվածով, որը նախատեսում է պատիժ «հանցավոր խմբի կազմում Ադրբեջանի պետական սահմանները» «անօրինական հատելու համար»:
Նա պատիժը կրելու է ընդհանուր ռեժիմի գաղութում: Դատախազը խնդրել էր Լապշինի նկատմամբ սահմանել պատիժ՝ 6,5 տարվա ազատազրկման տեսքով:

Ռուսաստանի, Իսրայելի և Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացի հանդիսացող բլոգեր Ալեքսանդր Լապշինը ձերբակալվել է Մինսկում 2016 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 15-ին՝ Ադրբեջանի դիմումի համաձայն, և արտահանձնվել Բաքվին 2017 թվականի փետրվարի 7-ին՝ 2011 թվականի ապրիլին, 2012 թվականի հոկտեմբերին և 2016 թվականի հունիսին Արցախ այցելելու, ինչպես նաև Ադրբեջանի քաղաքականությունը քննադատելու համար:
ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի խոսնակ Տիգրան Բալայանը, անդրադառնալով բլոգերի արտահանձնմանը, հայտարարել էր, որ Ալեքսանդր Լապշինի հետապնդումը, Ադրբեջան նրա արտահանձնումը խոսքի ազատության և ազատ տեղաշարժի, մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքների կոպտագույն ոտնահարում է, որը կրկին անգամ ի ցույց է դնում բռնապետության և ժողովրդավարության միջև առկա խորը անդունդը։
