Հուլիսի 2-ից 14-ը Եգիպտոսում անցկացվեց Top Model of the World մրցույթը, որտեղ Հայաստանը ներկայացնում էր մոդել Ալյոնա Թադեւոսյանը: Ալյոնան օրերս է վերադարձել հայրենիք, իսկ մրցույթի արդյունքի մասին առաջինը պատմել է NEWS.am STYLE-ին:
«Մրցույթի հաղթող դարձավ Ուկրաինայի ներկայացուցիչը: Ես էլ այլ մրցույթների մասնակցելու առաջարկներ ստացա, նաեւ Փարիզի Elite մոդելային գործակալության հետ համագործակցելու առաջարկ եմ ստացել: Հայաստանում էլ հրավիրեցին մասնակցելու նոր ռեալիթի շոուի, որի մասին դեռեւս չեմ կարող շատ բան ասել»,-ասում է Ալյոնան՝ կիսվելով նաեւ իր տպավորություններով.
«Այնտեղ հրաշալի էր: Հայաստանի մասին էի պատմում բոլորին, ասում էի, որ Քրիստոնեությունը որպես պետական կրոն ընդունած առաջին երկիրն ենք…Ընկերացել եմ մասնակիցների հետ: Կառանձնացնեմ հատկապես Վիետնամի, Կանադայի, Միացյալ Նահանգների եւ Բրազիլայի մասնակիցներին: Վիետնամցի մոդելին նույնիսկ հայերեն խոսել եմ սովորեցրել: Ի դեպ, պարզվեց, որ բրազիլուհի մոդելը` Անա Սեսիլիա Մուրան, մտերիմ է հայտնի ֆուտբոլիստ Նեյմարի հետ: Նա Բրազիլիայում շատ հայտնի հաղորդավարուհի է: Այդ թեմայով հաճախ էինք կատակում, ես էլ կատակով ասում էի, որ լուսանկարս անպայման ցույց տա Նեյմարին:)»:
Խոսելով մրցույթի հաղթողի մասին՝ Ալյոնան նշեց.
«Ուրախ եմ ուկրաինուհու համար, սակայն, անկեղծ ասած, ոչ միայն ես, այլեւ շատերը համաձայն չէին նրա հաղթանակի հետ, նույնիսկ՝ կազմակերպիչները: Ես շնորհավորում եմ նրան, բայց կարծում եմ՝ իմ թվարկած երկրների ներկայացուցիչների մեջ շատ ավելի գեղեցիկ ու հաղթանակի արժանի թեկնածուներ կային»:
