Խոսքի ազատության պաշտպանության կոմիտեի ղեկավար Աշոտ Մելիքյանի խոսքով՝ այս տարվա երկրորդ եռամսյակը լարված ժամանակաշրջան է եղել հայաստանյան լրատվամիջոցների ու լրագրողների համար: Այս մասին, Past.am-ի փոխանցմամբ, նա ասաց լրագրողների հետ զրույցում:
«Այս տարվա ապրիլի 2-ի խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների օրը, լրագրողների նկատմամբ կիրառվել է ֆիզիկական բռնության `2, մասնագիտական աշխատանքը խոչընդոտելու և ճնշում գործադրելու` 9 դեպք: Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների օրը գրանցվել է լրագրողների նկատմամբ ֆիզիկական բռնության` 2 և մասնագիտական գործունեության խոչընդոտման` 5 դեպք:
Այս տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում Հայաստանում ֆիզիկական բռնության է ենթարկվել 8 լրագրող: ԶԼՄ-ների և դրանց աշխատակիցների նկատմամբ առաջին կիսամյակում գրանցվել է ճնշումների 89 դեպք, տեղեկություն ստանալու և տարածելու իրավունքը խախտվել է 15 դեպքում»,- նշեց բանախոսը:
Պարոն Մելիքյանը փաստում է, որ 2016 թվականի առաջին կիսամյակի համեմատ ,այս տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածում Հայաստանում ավելացել են լրագրողների ու ԶԼՄ-ների նկատմամբ բռնությունները: «Նախորդ տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում գրանցվել էր լրագրողների նկատմամբ ֆիզիկական բռնության 3, ճնշումների՝ 30 դեպք»,-արձանագրում է Մելիքյանը:
Մասնագետը հայտնեց, որ այս տարվա առաջին կիսամյակում ընդդեմ ԶԼՄ-ների ու լրագրողների ներկայացվել է 48 դատական հայց՝ բոլորն էլ վիրավորնիք ու զրպարտության հիմքով: Խոսքի ազատության պաշտպանության կոմիտեի ղեկավար Աշոտ Մելիքյանն այս համատեքստում հիշատակեց Sut.am կայքի հիմնադիր Դանիել Իոաննիսյանի նկատմամբ 30 ուսուցիչների ներկայացրած հայցերը:
