Արցախի խորհրդարանը հատուկ նիստում Բակո Սահակյանին ընտրեց ԱՀ նախագահի պաշտոնում

Արցախի Ազգային ժողովը հուլիսի 19-ին հատուկ նիստում 28 կողմ ձայնով Բակո Սահակյանին ընտրել է հանրապետության նախագահի պաշտոնում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ փակ գաղտնի քվեարկության արդյունքները ամփոփելուց հետո այդ մասին հայտարարել է հաշվիչ հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ռոմելա Դադայանը: Մյուս թեկնածու Էդուարդ Աղաբեկյանը ստացել է 4 ձայն:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով վստահության համար՝ Արցախի նորընտիր նախագահը նշել է, որ շարունակելու է իր աշխատանքը նոր եռանդով ու նոր ծրագրերով՝ հանուն Արցախի զարգացման և բարգավաճման: Նիստին 33 պատգամավորներից ներկա էին 32-ը:
«Ժողովրդավարություն» խմբակցությունից հարգելի պատճառով բացակայում էր Արմո Ծատուրյանը:
ԼՂՀ ԱԺ երեք՝ «Հայրենիք», «Ժողովրդավարություն» և «Դաշնակցություն» խմբակցությունները առաջադրել էին գործող նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի թեկնածությունը: Գործող նախագահին իր աջակցությունն էր հայտնել նաև խորհրդարանի միակ անկախ պատգամավոր Արսեն Առստամյանը: Նախագահի պաշտոնում ընտրվելու համար բավարար էր 21 ձայնը։
Արցախի Սահմանադրության 168-րդ հոդվածի համաձայն՝ խորհրդարանի ընտրած նախագահը պաշտոնավարելու է մինչև գործող ԱԺ-ի լիազորությունների ավարտը՝ 2020 թվականը, որից հետո արդեն տեղի կունենան Արցախի նախագահի համապետական ընտրություններ:
