Իրանը ԱՄՆ-ին նախազգուշացրել է այն հետեւանքների մասին, որոնց կբախվի Վաշինգտոնը, եթե Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահակների կորպուսը ներառվի ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների ցանկում։
«ԻՀՊԿ-ն ահաբեկիչների ցանկում ներառելը ու նման պատժամիջոցների սահմանումը մեծ վտանգ է պարունակում ամերիկացիների ու տարածաշրջանում նրանց կայանների ու ուժերի համար»,- հայտնել է Իրանի ԶՈՒ շտաբի պետ, գեներալ մայոր Մոհամադ Բաքերին։ Նա ԱՄՆ-ին նախազգուշացրել է Իրանի հարցում «սխալ հաշվարկների» մասին, այդ թվում ԻՀՊԿ-ն «սեւ ցանկում» ներառելու ու պատժամիջոցների մտադրությունների մասին։ «Ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաներին խորհուրդ ենք տալիս ավելի կշռադատված ու հասուն արտահայտվել այլ երկրների, մանավանդ Իրանի նման երկրի մասին, որը հպարտությամբ ու ուժով դիմակայել է բոլոր դավադրություններին»։ Բակերին շեշտել է, որ «Իրանի հրթիռային ծրագիրը պաշտպանական է ու բանակցությունների ենթակա չէ»։
