Սեւան քաղաքում հանդիսավորությամբ բացվեց «Սեւանա լիճ-2017» շախմատի միջազգային մրցաշարը

 Հուլիսի 13-ի երեկոյան Սեւան քաղաքի «Բոհեմյան Ռիզորթ» հյուրանոցում տեղի ունեցավ «Սեւանա լիճ-2017» շախմատի միջազգային մրցաշարի հանդիսավոր բացումը: «Արմենպրես»-ի տեղեկացմամբ՝ բացման արարողությանը մասնակցեցին ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը, Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի տեղակալ Սմբատ Լպուտյանը, Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետ, Գեղարքունիքի մարզի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Կարեն Բոթոյանը, ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Ռաֆիկ Գրիգորյանը, Սեւանի քաղաքապետ Սարգիս Մուրադյանը, Գեղարքունիքի մարզի համայնքների ղեկավարները, կրթամշակութային հաստատությունների տնօրեններ, պետական կառավարման մարմինների ներկայացուցիչներ, մրցաշարի մասնակից շախմատիստները: Կազմակերպիչների ներկայացմամբ, այս տարի շախմատի միջազգային մրցաշարին մասնակցում են 6 երկրի բարձրակարգ շախմատիստներ. Իգոր Կովալենկո՝ Լատվիա, Բասսեմ Ամին՝ Եգիպտոս, Մարտին Կվարցիվ՝ Ուկրաինա, Տամիր Նաբատին՝ Իսրայել,Դարիուշ Սվիերչ՝ Լեհաստան, Սամվել Տեր-Սահակյան, Հովհաննես Գաբուզյան, Մանուել Պետրոսյան, Հայկ Մարտիրոսյան, Տիգրան Հարությունյան՝ Հայաստան:
Ողջունելով մրցաշարի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողության մասնակիցներին՝ Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետ, Գեղարքունիքի մարզի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Կարեն Բոթոյանը նշեց, որ այս կարեւոր մրցաշարը մի կողմից մեծ ճանաչում է բերում Գեղարքունիքի մարզին, իսկ մյուս կողմից նպաստում մեր մշակույթի, ավանդույթների տարածմանը, միջազգային հանրության հետ ուղղակի շփումներին: «Շնորհակալ եմ մրցաշարի կազմակերպիչներին եւ անձամբ ՀՀ նախագահ, Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ ՍերԺ Սարգսյանին, որոնց ջանքերի շնորհիվ մեր մարզում 11-րդ անգամ անցկացվում է այս հեղինակավոր մրցաշարը: Ակնկալում ենք հետաքրքիր մրցապայքար»,-ասաց Կարեն Բոթոյանը: 
ՀՀ շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի տեղակալ Սմբատ Լպուտյանն իր հերթին նշեց, որ ավանդաբար Մարտունի քաղաքում անցկացվող այս մրցաշարն այսուհետ կազմակերպիչները ծրագրել են անցկացնել նաեւ մարզի մյուս քաղաքներում, որպեսզի միջազգային հանրությանը ճանաչելի դառնան նաեւ Գեղարքունիքի մյուս տարածաշրջանները: «Այս տարվա մրցաշարը հավաքել է հզոր, երիտասարդ շախմատիստների, ինչն էլ ենթադրում է համառ ու անզիջում պայքար, բացառիկ պարտիաների խաղարկում: Շախմատը ոչ միայն սպորտ է, այլ նաեւ՝ մշակույթ եւ ստեղծագործություն, որը պետք է ծառայեցնել ժողովուրդների բարեկամությանը եւ խաղաղությանը»,-նշեց Սմբատ Լպուտյանը: 
Շախմատի միջազգային մրցաշարի բացման մասնակիցներին գեղարվեստական կատարումներով ողջունեցին երգիչներ Սոնա Ռուբինյանը եւ Սեւակ Ամրոյանը: Ներկաներին զվարճալի պահեր պարգեւեց իլյուզոնիստ Նահապետ Արշակյանը: Վիճակահանությունն անցկացրեց մրցաշարի գլխավոր մրցավար Նորայր Քալանթարյանը: Մրցաշարի առաջին տուրը կկայանա հուլիսի 14-ին, ժամը 15-ին: Մրցաշարին առցանց կարող են հետեւել աշխարհի բազմաթիվ երկրներում: Մրցաշարի փակումը տեղի կունենա հուլիսի 22-ի երեկոյան:
