Միջազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեն (ՄՕԿ) հաստատել է, որ 2024 եւ 2028 թվականների ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերի քաղաքներ են ընտրվել Փարիզը եւ Լոս Անջելեսը: Սակայն, դեռեւս հայտնի չէ, թե որ քաղաքն է առաջինն ընդունելու Խաղերը:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին գրում է ՀԱՕԿ-ը: 2024 եւ 2028 թթ. ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերն անցկացնելու հայտ ներկայացրել էին նաեւ Համբուրգը, Բուդապեշտը եւ Հռոմը, բայց վերջնական ցուցակում ընդգրկվել էին Փարիզն ու Լոս Անջելեսը: Խաղերի անցկացման հերթականությունը վերջնականապես կորոշվի սեպտեմբերի 13-ին Լիմայում կայանալիք ՄՕԿ-ի 131-րդ համաժողովի ընթացքում:

Մինչ այդ Փարիզը եւ Լոս Անջելեսը միասին պետք է համաձայնության գան: Երկու քաղաքներն էլ Օլիմպիական խաղերն ընդունելու կրկնակի փորձ ունեն. Փարիզ՝ 1900 եւ 1920 թթ., Լոս Անջելես՝ 1932 եւ 1984 թթ.: Առաջիկա ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերը 2020 թվականին կկայանան Տոկիոյում:
