Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ներկա է գտնվել Մ. Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանի գիտխորհրդի հանդիսավոր նիստին:

«Հերացի» թիվ 1 հիվանդանոցային համալիրի համալսարանական հիվանդանոցի բակում կայացած բացօթյա միջոցառմանը գիտխորհրդի անդամներից և հյուրերից բացի` մասնակցել են հիվանդանոցային համալիրում վերականգնողական բուժում ստացող վիրավոր զինծառայողները: Բժշկական համալսարանն ավարտող ապագա բժիշկներին, այդ թվում՝ ռազմական բժիշկներին, ավարտական դիպլոմներ հանձնելու իրավունքը վերապահվել է նաև առաջնագծում հայրենիքի առջև իրենց պարտքը կատարած այդ զինվորներից Սարգիս Ստեփանյանին և Գոռ Դարմանյանին: Հանդիսավոր արարողությունը մեկնարկել է ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի հատուկ զինվորական նվագախմբի քայլերթով:

Նիստում ԵՊԲՀ ռեկտոր Արմեն Մուրադյանի բացման խոսքից և համալսարանի մասին պատմող ֆիլմի դիտումից հետո, շրջանավարտներն ընթերցել են Հիպոկրատի երդումը և ստացել դիպլոմները: 

Արարողության ավարտին Հանրապետության Նախագահը շրջայց է կատարել ԵՊԲՀ-ի և ՊՆ-ի համագործակցության արդյունքում ստեղծվող վերականգնողական կենտրոնում, ծանոթացել աշխատանքների ընթացքին, կենտրոնի կողմից տրամադրվելիք բժշկական ծառայություններին և խոստացել աջակցել այդ նախաձեռնությունը հնարավորինս շուտ կյանքի կոչելուն: Նախագահին զեկուցել են, որ «Զինվորական հաշմանդամների և վիրավոր զինվորների աջակցության» կենտրոնում համալիր վերականգնողական բուժում են ստանալու վիրավոր, հաշմանդամություն ունեցող զինծառայողները, ցուցաբերվելու է հոգեբանական աջակցություն, իրականացվելու են նաև ուսումնական ծրագրեր:
