 Իրանը հավասարակշռված դերակատարում ու դիրքորոշում ունի արցախյան հիմնահարցում: Արցախյան խնդրին Իրանի համար կրոնական երանգ տալու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության բոլոր փորձերը չեն հաջողվել: Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է խորացնելու բարեկամական հարաբերությունները թե Իրանի, թե Վրաստանի հետ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ հուլիսի 12-ին լրագրողների հետ կայացած հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի փոխխոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

«Մենք դրական ենք ընդունում Իրանի հավասարակշռված  դերակատարումը արցախյան հիմնահարցում: Այս երկիրը մշտապես նման դիրքորոշում է ունեցել: Իրանի հետ հարաբերությունները պետք է զարգանան բոլոր հնարավոր ուղղություններով՝ օգտագործելով էներգետիկ, տնտեսական ու քաղաքական ռեսուրսները»,-ասաց Շարմազանովը:

Լինելով Հայաստան-Վրաստան բարեկամության հանձնաժողովի ղեկավար՝ նա նշեց, որ Հայաստանը Վրաստանի հետ ունի որոշակի հարցեր, սակայն բոլորը հնարավոր է լուծել բանակցությունների միջոցով: «Վրաստանը մեր հարևան ու բարեկամ պետությունն է, որտեղ ունենք մեծաքանակ հայ բնակչություն, մշակույթ, և պետք է ամեն ինչ անենք, որ հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները ևս բոլոր ուղղություններով զարգանան»,-ասաց Շարմազանովն ու հավելեց, որ հուլիսին փոխայցելություններ կունենան վրացի գործընկերների հետ և կփորձեն կազմել ճանապարհային քարտեզ երկու երկրների միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններին ավելի լայն թափ հաղորդելու համար:
