Armtimes.com-ը երեկ` հուլիսի 11-ին, տեղեկացրել էր, որ Գյումրիում` Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան փողոցում տեղի է ունեցել ողբերգական դեպք: Օպել մակնիշի 15 xx 550 պետհամարանիշերով ավտոմեքենան վրաերթի է ենթարկել ամուսիններ` 23-ամյա Արփինե Մանուկյանին եւ 34-ամյա Մելսիկ Ղազարյանին: Նրանք մահացել էին`Նելսիկը Օպելի հարվածից անմիջապես հետո, կենսաբանական մահը Գյումրու բժշկական կենտրոնում էին հաստատել, իսկ Արփինեն՝ հիվանդանոցում: Բժիշկներն փորձել էին փրկել նրա կյանքը, բայց չէր հաջողվել: Գյումրի բժշկական կենտրոնի փոխտնօրեն Արմեն Խաչատրյանը armtimes.com-ի հետ զրույցում տեղեկացրեց, որ Արփինեի վնասվածքներն կյանքի հետ անհամատեղելի էին: Նա մահացել էր գիտակցության չգալով:

«Ամուսնուն մահացած են բերել, իսկ կինը գտնվում էր ծայրահեղ ծանր վիճակում: Հոգեվարքի վիճակում էր, բայց կազմակերպվել է վերակենդանացման միջոցառումներ, հիվանդը միացվել է արհեստական շնչառական ապարատին, հակաշոկային դեղորայք ենք ներարկել: Նրա մոտ առկա էր գանգուղեղային բաց վնասվածք, գանգի կոտրվածք, աջ կողերի կոտրվածք, թոքի սալջարդ, աջ բազկի կոտրվածք, կոնքի ոսկրերի ամբողջականությունն էր խախտվել»,- armtimes.com-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ԲԿ-ի փոխտնօրենը:

Արփինե Մանուկյանն ընդամենը 23 տարեկան էր: Նախորդ տարի էր ավարտել Գյումրու մանկավարժական ինստիտուտի բնագիտամաթեմատիկական ֆակուլտետը: Ծննդով Շիրակի մարզի Կամո գյուղից էր: Համագյուղացիների փոխանցմամբ՝ աշխատում էր ԱԻՆ-ում: Կամոյի բնակիչները նրան բնութագրեցին՝ համեստ, աշխատասեր, խելացի: Ասում են` կրթված ընտանիքից էր, տան փոքր աղջիկն էր: Նրա ավագ քույրը գյուղի աշխարհագրության ուսուցչուհին է, հայրն աշխատում է գյուղապետարանում:

2017 թվականի փետրվար-մարտ ամիսներին Մելսիկն ու Արփինեն ամուսնացել էին: Ծանոթացել էին Գյումրիում: Մելսիկ Ղազարյանը ծննդով գյումրեցի էր: Միասին բնակվում էին Գյումրիում: Նորաստեղծ ընտանիքում շուտով պետք է ծնվեր նրանց առաջնեկը, զույգը երեխայի ծնունդին անհամբերությամբ էր սպասում: Որոշ հարազատների ծննդյան տոնի ժամանակ պետք է նույնպես տեղեկացնեին երեխայի բարի լուրի մասին:

Արփինեն ու Մելսիկը վրաերթի զոհ էին դարձել հուլիսի 11-ի երեկոյան` ժամը 21:30-ի սահմաններում: Օպելի վարորդը ձերբակալվել է: Դեպքի արթիվ հարուցվել է  քրեական գործ՝ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 242 հոդվածի 3-դ մասով։
