ՄԻԵԴ-ը վճռել է, որ փարանջա հագնելու արգելքը չի խախտում մարդու իրավունքները

Ստրասբուրգում ՄԻԵԴ-ը որոշում է կայացրել երկու հայցերի շուրջ՝ խոստովանելով, որ Բելգիայում հասարակական վայրերում դեմքն ամբողջովին կամ մասնակիորեն փակող հագուստ հագնելու արգելքը չի խախտում Մարդու իրավունքների մասին եվրոպական հռչակագիրը, հայտնում է DW-ը։
Հայցվորները երեք մուսուլման կանայք էին, որոնք Բելգիայում են բնակվում։ Նրանք վիճարկում էին հասարակական վայրերում նիկաբ, չադրա ու փարանջա հագնելու արգելքը։ 2008-ին նման արգելք է ներդրվել երեք բելգիական համայնքներում՝ Պեպենսթերիում, Դիզոնեում ու Վերվյեում, իսկ 2011-ին այն դարձել է համազգային։
Դատարանը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ սահմանված արգելքը կարելի է դիտարկել որպես «համատեղ բնակության պայման», իսկ սահմանված սահմանափակումները անհրաժեշտ են ժողովրդավարական հասարակությունում։ Նման հագուստի թույլատրման կամ արգելքի հարցը պետք է լուծի հենց հասարակությունը։
ԵՄ առաջին երկիրը , որը արգելել է դեմքն ամբողջովին փակող մուսուլմանական հագուստը, Ֆրանսիան էր, որտեղ այդ արգելքը ուժի մեջ է մտել 2011-ին։ 2014-ին դրա իրավաչափությունը օրինական է ճանաչվել ՄԻԵԴ Մեծ պալատի կողմից։
