Սերժ Սարգսյանին հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել Հայաստանում Իսլանդիայի նորանշանակ դեսպանը

ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին հունիսի 11-ին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Իսլանդիայի Հանրապետության նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Սիգրիդուր Բերգլինդ Այսգեյրսդոտիրը (նստավայրը՝ Մոսկվա):
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Հանրապետության Նախագահը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին պաշտոնն ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ և հաջողություններ մաղթել մեր երկրում դիվանագիտական առաքելությունն իրականացնելու գործում։ Նշելով, որ չնայած հայ-իսլանդական միջպետական կապերն սկսել են զարգանալ երկու երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից ի վեր անցած 20 տարիների ընթացքում, Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ այդ ժամանակահատվածում երկու երկրների փոխգործակցության ներուժը լիարժեքորեն չի օգտագործվել, և Հայաստանը պատրաստակամ է խորացնել միջպետական հարաբերությունները Իսլանդիայի հետ՝ այդ գործում ակնկալելով նաև նորանշանակ դեսպանի ակտիվ աշխատանքը:
Դեսպան Սիգրիդուր Բերգլինդ Այսգեյրսդոտիրը վստահեցրել է, որ լավագույն ջանքը կներդնի հայ-իսլանդական երկկողմ կապերի ամրապնդման համար: Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ այդ նպատակով արդեն որոշակի հանդիպումներ ու քննարկումներ է ունեցել Երևանում և համարում է, որ ինչպես առևտրատնտեսական, այնպես էլ հումանիտար բնագավառներում հաջողությամբ համագործակցելու ներուժ կա, որի լիարժեք օգտագործման ուղղությամբ անհրաժեշտ է հետևողականորեն աշխատել: Դեսպանը հեռանկարային է համարել նաև Իսլանդիայի և Հայաստանի բուհերի միջև փոխգործակցության զարգացումը, ՏՏ, զբոսաշրջության ոլորտներում փորձի փոխանակումը:
Զրուցակիցները համակարծիք են եղել, որ Հայաստանը և Իսլանդիան փոխշահավետ համագործակցություն կարող են զարգացնել էներգետիկայի՝ հատկապես վերականգնվող էներգետիկայի բնագավառում, որտեղ Իսլանդիան մեծ փորձ և զգալի ձեռքբերումներ ունի:
Հանրապետության Նախագահը և դեսպան Սիգրիդուր Բերգլինդ Այսգեյրսդոտիրը կարևորել են նաև միջխորհրդարանական կապերի ամրապնդումը, որը, կողմերի համոզմամբ, մեծապես կնպաստի միջպետական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը:
Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել նաև տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին և մարտահրավերներին, ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ շրջանակներում ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման գործընթացին:
