Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը շնորհավորել է լրագրողներին Հայ մամուլի օրվա առթիվ: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, իր շնորհավորական ուղերձում քաղաքապետը նշել է, որ զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցները, լինելով ժողովրդավարական, իրավական պետության կայացման կարևորագույն և ազդու լծակներից մեկը, իրենց ծանրակշիռ դերակատարումն ունեն քաղաքացիական հասարակության կայացման գործում:

«Հայաստանյան զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցների հարգելի ներկայացուցիչներ, ջերմորեն շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիդ մասնագիտական տոնի՝ Հայ մամուլի օրվա առթիվ: 220 տարի է անցել այն օրից, երբ հրապարակվեց հայկական առաջին պարբերական «Ազդարար»-ը և, կարելի է ասել, հենց այդ օրվանից էլ մամուլը դարձավ մեր իրականության, մեր կյանքի անբաժանելի մասն ու ուղեկիցը: Որպես Երևանում իրականացվող ծրագրերի, բոլոր իրադարձությունների անմիջական ականատեսն ու վկան՝ մշտարթուն ձեր դիտարկումներով, հետևողական ու անաչառ հրապարակումներով ձեր ներդրումն եք ունեցել ու շար ունակում եք ունենալ մեր քաղաքի կյանքում՝ նպաստելով մեր ջերմ ու բարի մայրաքաղաքն ավելի լավ, ավելի բարեկեցիկ ու հարմարավետ դարձնելու դժվարին, բայց կենսականորեն կարևոր գործին», - ասվում է Տարոն Մարգարյանի շնորհավորական խոսքում:
