Ինչպես հայտնի է՝ հայերն առաջինն էին, որ ընդունեցին քրիստոնեությունը որպես պետական կրոն, ինչն էլ մնացած ազգերին ստիպու է ասոցացնել մեզ որոշ սիմվոլների հետ:

 

1. Խաչքարեր

Քարից կերտված խաչեր, որոնց պատրաստելու համար տուֆ է օգտագործվում: Խաչքարերն օգտագործում են մահացածների գերեզմանների կամ էլ մշակութային կամ կրոնական կառույցներ զարդարելու համար:

 

2. Հավերժության հայկական նշան

Հավերժության նշանի հայկական տարբերակը, որը հնարավոր է տեսնել գրեթե ամենուր՝ հին եկեղեցիների պատերին և անգամ տարբեր կազմակերպությունների լոգոներում: Պատմաբանները կարծում են, որ հայ մշակույթում հայտնի այս նշանը խորհրդանշում է նաև արևը:

 

3. Հայկական գորգեր

Ազգային մշակույթի «ներկայացուցիչ»՝ անկրկնելի, վառ գույներով, ներդաշնակ երկրաչափական պատկերներով և միստիկ նշաններով զարդարված: Յուրաքանչյուր մարզում առաջ ստեղծվում էին հատուկ պատկերներ, որոնք բնորոշ էին միմիայն այդ շրջանին: Առանձնահատուկ փառք էին վայելում Արցախում պատրաստված գորգերը:

 

4. Նուռ

Նուռը, որը խորհրդանշում է բարեբերություն, հաջողություն, Հայաստանի խորհրդանիշն է համարվում: Սերգեյ Փարաջանովն անգամ իր ֆիլմերից մեկի անվան մեջ ներառել է այս մրգի անվանումը՝ «Նռան գույնը»: Վերջինս նվիրված էր հայ աշուղ-բանաստեղծ Սայաթ-Նովային:

 

5. Խազեր

Հայ ժողովուրդն ունեցել է երաժշտական նոտաների գրառման իր համակարգը, որոնք ավանվել են  «խազեր»: Ժամանակի ընթացքում դրանք սկսեցին բարդանալ, և որպեսզի մարդկանց համար հասանելի լինի խազերի ընթերցումը, փորձեցին հեշտացնել դրանք: Այսօր Հայաստանում խազերը կրկին օգտագործվում են:

 

6. Հայոց այբուբեն

Մեր ազգի ազգային ինքնորոշման հարցում հսկայական դեր է ունեցել հայոց այբուբենի ստեղծումը: Ինչպես նշում են աղբյուրները՝ Մեսրոպ Մաշտոցի կողմից ստեղծված 36 տառերը անմիջականորեն կապվում են հենց Աստծու հետ: V դարից ի վեր մեր այբուբենը փոփոխությունների չի ենթարկվել:

 

7. Վեցգագաթանի աստղ

Չնայած այն բանին, որ այս նշանը հաճախ ասոցացնում են հուդայիզմի հետ, դրան կարելի է հանդիպել հայկական եկեղեցիների պատերի կամ խաչքարերի վրա: Նշանի մեջտեղում տեղադրված է հավերժության նշանը:

 

8. Ազգային դրոշ

Կա վարկած, որ մեր դրոշը ստեղծվել է XIX դարում Ղևոնդ Ալիշանի արած պրոտոտիպի հիման վրա: Գույներից յուրաքանչյուրն իր նշանակությունն ունի. կարմիրը խորհրդանշում է ազատությունն ու հայ ժողովրդի մղած դարավոր պայքարը: Կապույտը մեր ազգի կյանքն է  խաղաղ երկնքի տակ: Երրորդը՝ ծիրանագույնը, խորհրդանշում է աշխատասիրությունը, հյուրասիրությունն ու հայերի յուրահատուկ տաղանդը:

 

9. Սուրբ լեռ Արարատ

Արարատի պատկերներ կարող եք տեսնել ամենուր՝ սկսած մեր զինանշանից, վերջացրած հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի հավաքականի համազզգեստով: Արարատն այն վայրն է, որտեղ կանգ է առել Նոյի տապանը. այս է վկայում Աստվածաշունչը:

 

10. Հայաստանի զինանշան

Գերբի վրա պատկերված են առյուծ և արծիվ, կենտրոնում՝ վահան, որի մեջտեղում երևում է Արարատ լեռը, իսկ դրա շուրջը հայկական 4 արքայատոհմերի զինանշաններն են: Ներքևի հատվածում պատկերված են սուր, ցորենի հասկեր, ինչպես նաև կոտչված շղթա: Այս ամենը խորհրդանշում է ազատություն, մշակութային ժառանգություն, բարձր ինտելեկտ և աշխատասիրություն:
