Էնդոկրին համակարգի ամբողջ գործունեությունը կախված է վահանաձև գեղձի աշխատանքից: Օրգանիզմում յոդի բավարար քանակության դեպքում համակարգի հետ կապված խնդիրներ չեն առաջանա, իսկ յոդի բացակայությունն արտահայտվում է վահանձև գեղձի մեծացմամբ, հաճախակի հոգնածության զգացողությամբ, ինչպես նաև խախտում է հորմոնալ հավասարակշռությունը: Վահանաձև գեղձի բնականոն աշխատանքի վերականգնմանը նպաստում են յոդ պարունակող մթերքները՝ ձկնեղեն, խաղող, խնձոր, սոխ, ծնեբեկ, թրթրջուկ:
Վահանաձև գեղձի բնականոն աշխատանքի վերականգնման համար առաջարկում ենք կարմիր սոխից պատրաստված թրջոց (կոմպրես), որը կօգնի հատկապես նրանց, որոնց գեղձը մեծացած է: Արդեն մեկ ամսից նկատելի կլինեն դրական արդյունքները:
Թրջոցը պատրաստելու համար անհրաժեշտ է ընդամենը 500 գրամ կարմիր սոխ և ստերիլ մարլիա (շղարշ) կամ բինտ: Բլենդերի կամ մսաղացի միջոցով լավ ճզմեք սոխը, ստացված զանգվածը քսեք մարլիայի վրա և այն 2 ժամ թողեք պարանոցին: Մարլիան անհրաժեշտ է ծածկել կոմպրեսային թղթով կամ պոլիէթիլենային թաղանթով: Թրջոցը խորհուրդ է տրվում օգտագործել շաբաթական երկու անգամ՝ մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում:
