ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի որդին, փեսան ու ընտրական շտաբի նախկին ղեկավարը 2016-ին հանդիպել են ռուս իրավաբան Նատալյա Վեսելնիցկայայի հետ, հավաստիացնում են ամերիկյան Washington Post ու New York Times թերթերը։ Երկու պարբերականներն էլ Նատալիային անվանում են Կրեմլի հետ կապակցված մարդ, հայտնում է BBC-ն։

New York Times-ի տվյալներով հանդիպումը կայացել է Նյու Յորքում Թրամփ- թաուերում 2016-ի հունիսի 9-ին, այսինքն նախագահական ընտրություններում Թրամփի հաղթանակից մի քանի ամիս առաջ։

Թրամփ կրտսերի ու Ջարեդ Քուշների ներկայացուցիչները լրագրողներին հաստատել են Վեսելնիցկայայի հետ հանդիպման փաստը, նշելով միաժամանակ, որ հանդիպումը կարճատեւ էր ՝ մոտ կես ժամ։ Ընտրական շտաբի նախկին ղեկավար Փոլ Մանաֆորթի ներկայացուցիչները հրաժարվել են մեկնաբանություններից։

Վեսելնիցկայան նույնպես հաստատել է Թրամփ – թաուերում կայացած հանդիպման փաստը, բայց պնդում է, որ դրա ընթացքում չեն քննարկվել ընտրություններին վերաբերող հարցեր։ Հանդիպման մասնակիցները հայտարարում են, որ քննարկվել է ամերիկացիների կողմից Ռուսաստանից երեխաների որդեգրման արգելքը։

 New York Times-ը նշում է, որ Վեսելնիցկայան հայտնի է որպես «Մագնիտսկու օրենքի» հակառակորդ ու փորձում է հասնել դրա չեղարկմանը։ Հենց այդ օրենքն է առիթ դարձել, որ Ռուսաստանը արգելի ամերիկացիների կողմից ռուս որբերի որդեգրումը։

Պարբերականը նաեւ նշում է, որ Վեսելնիցկայայի հաճախորդներից են խոշոր ռուսաստանյան պետական ընկերությունները, նաեւ որ նա կապեր ունի Ռուսաստանի իշխանությունների հետ, սակայն Կրեմլի հետ նրա կապերի մաիսն որեւէ ապացույց չի ներկայացնում։

Պարբերականը նաեւ նշում է, որ օրենքով հանդիպման մասնակիցներից ոչ մեկը պարտավոր չէ բացահայտել հանդիպման բովանդակությունը՝ ընդ որում առնվազն Քուշները, թեկուզեւ ուշացումով, բայց տեղեկացրել է իշխանություններին՝ այդ հանդիպման փաստի մասին։
