«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.

«Մեր տեղեկություններով՝ մոտ օրերս կհրապարակվի նախկին պատգամա­վոր, ԱԳ նախկին նախարար Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանի՝ դեսպան նշանակվելու հրամանագիրը. ագրեմանն արդեն ստացվել է: Նա միանգամից 3 երկրում կկատա­րի ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպանի պարտականությունները՝ Դանիա, Նորվեգիա, Իսլանդիա:

Մեր հարցին ի պա­տասխան՝ Արզումանյանն ասաց. «Վեր­ջին 5 տարիների ընթացքում բազմաթիվ նման բաներ ես թերթերից կարդացել եմ, տարբեր երկրներ՝ Ճապոնիա, այլ երկրներ: Հասկանում եք, Հայաստանում ձևավորվել է մի բան, որ մի թերթը գրում է, մյուսը մեկնաբանում է, երրորդը… կլինեն ինչ-որ նման զարգացումներ՝ հավանաբար, ես էլ, Դուք էլ կիմանանք այդ մասին»:

Նա, թեև ժամանակին եղել է ՄԱԿ-ում, Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայա­ցուցիչ, ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան, 1996-1998 թթ.՝ ՀՀ արտգործնախարար, սակայն ժամանակին նաև «ցախավելների» հեղափոխություն էր անում՝ իշխանափոխության հասնելու համար, Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի նախընտրական շտաբի պետն էր՝ ընտրու­թյունների փուլում, ապա՝ 2007-ին, մեղա­դրվեց փողերի լվացման մեջ, հայտնվեց բանտում, իսկ ավելի ուշ «Ազատ դեմոկ­րատների» հետ մտավ «Ժառանգության» ցուցակ և հայտնվեց խորհրդարանում:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Դանիայում և Նորվեգիայում ՀՀ դեսպանը գործարար Հրաչյա Աղաջանյանն էր, ով այդ պաշտոնին էր 2011-ից: Նրա օրոք է ՀՀ դեսպանությունը բացվել Կոպենհագենում: Նրա ընտանիքը կրթամշակութային ծրագիր է իրականաց­նում Սևանի ավազանում»:
