 Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև նոր համաձայնագիրը կարող է նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնել կողմերի համագործակցությունը: Երևանում ՀՀ-ԵՄ առևտրի, տնտեսական և համապատասխան իրավական հարցերով համագործակցության ենթակոմիտեի 14-րդ նիստի ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին: «Կարևոր է այն հանգամանքը, որ այս նիստն ընթանում է այն պÕ �հին, երբ Եվրամիությունը մանդատ է տվել Հայաստանի հետ նոր համագործակցության շուրջ բանակցությունները սկսելու վերաբերյալ: Ճիշտ է, այդ համաձայնագրի ազատությունը կարող է սահմանափակ լինել, սակայն այն կարող է նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնել Եվրամիություն-Հայաստան համագործակցությունը: Ես կարծում եմ, որ սա երկու կողմերի ցանկությունն է»,- ընդգծեց Սվիտալսկին:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ Եվրոպական Միությունը ցանկանում է խորացնել առևտրային հարաբերությունները  Հայաստանի հետ: «Հայաստանի համար էլ Եվրամիությունը առևտրային առաջին գործընկերն է, սակայն մենք գտնում ենք, որ համագործակցության ավելի մեծ ներուժ կա: Եվրամիությունը ցանկանում է օգնել Հայաստանին այդ ներուժը կյանքի կոչելուվ հարցում»,- ընդգծեց Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարը:

Նա նկատեց, որ Եվրամիությունն էլ Հայաստանում խոշոր ներդրող է՝ ընդգծելով, որ այս առումով էլ համագործակցությունը խորացնելու անհրաժեշտություն կա: Նրա խոսքով՝ Եվրոպական Միությունը պատրաստ է աջակցություն տրամադրել Հայաստանին ներդրումային միջավայրը բարելավելու համար, որն ավելի կխթանի եվրոպական ներդրումները: «Ներդրողների համար կարևոր է հասկանալ, թե ինչպիսին է լինելու Հայաստանում ներդրումային միջավայրը 15 տարի հետո: Դրա համար ամեն ինչ պետք է հստակ լինի: Մենք պատրաստ ենք Հայաստանում ծրագիր իրականացնել, որը էապես կբարելավի ներդրումային միջավայրը և հնարավորություն կտա կանխատեսումներ անել հետագայի համար: Հույս ունենք, որ Հայաստանը կօգտվի այս հնարավորությունից»,- եզրափակեց դեսպանը՝ հավելելով, որ ներդրումները խթանելու համար հարկավոր է լուրջ պայքար մղել նաև կոռուպցիայի դեմ, ինչը շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի:
