ԱՄՆ նախագահը մեքսիկացի գործընկերոջը բարեկամ է անվանել

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը իր մեքսիկացի գործընկեր Էնիկե Պենյու Նյետոյին անվանել է բարեկամ՝ «Մեծ քսանյակի» գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակում նրա հետ հանդիպումից հետո, փոխանցում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։
«Փառահեղ է լինել այստեղ իմ բարեկամ՝ Մեքսիկայի նախագահի հետ, մենք Մեքսիկայի հետ քննարկում ենք Ազատ առեւտրի հյուսիսամերիկյան գոտու մաիսն համաձայնագիրն ու որոշ այլ թեմաներ»,- ասել է Թրամփը հանդիպումից հետո ։
Թրամփի խոսքով երկու երկրների բանակցություններում հիմա առաջնթաց է նկատվում։ Ընդ որում Թրամփը հաստատել է իր մտադրությունը՝ ստիպել Մեքսիկայի իշխանություններին վճարել երկու պետությունների միջեւ սահմանին պատի կառուցման համար։
Ազատ առեւտրի հյուսիսամերիկյան գոտու մասին համաձայնագիրը գործում է 1994-ից ու միավորում է ԱՄՆ-ին, Կանադային ու Մեքսիկային։ Թրամփը մինչ այդ խոսել էր համաձայնագիրը վերանայելու անհրաժեշտության ու դրանից դուրս գալու հնարավորության մասին, եթե ԱՄՆ-ն լրացուցիչ օգուտ չունենա դրա գործողությունից։ Նա այդ համաձայնագիրն անվանել էր «տարերային աղետ» ու հաստատել, որ այն հանգեցրել ԱՄՆ-ում մեծ քանակության աշխատատեղերի կորստի։
