ԵԽ պատգամավոր (Լյուքսեմբուրգ) Ֆրանկ Էնգելը ղարաբաղաադրբեջանական սահմանին տեղի ունեցողի վերաբերյալ որևէ տեսանյութ չի դիտել,  ըստ այդմ, նա չի ցանկանում որևէ մեկնաբանություն տալ տեղի ունեցածի վերաբերյալ: Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում նա նշեց, որ ինքն անձամբ սահմանում չէ և որևէ բան այդ մասով չի կարող ասել:

Ստեղծված իրավիճակին գնահատական տվողների մասին էլ նա ասաց․«Եթե  որևէ մեկը ինչ-որ բան է ասում կամ պետք է վստահ լինի իր դիրքորոշման մեջ, կամ չասի ոչինչ»:

Ֆրանկ Էնգելը ափսոսանքով հիշատակեց, որ անթիվ ռազմական սադրանքներից ևս մեկից հետո ԼՂ պաշտպանության բանակի հակահարվածի հետևանքով ադրբեջանական գյուղերից մեկում անմեղ երեխայի ցավալի մահ է գրանցվել:

«Ես ցավում եմ երեխայի և նրա տատիկի մահվան համար: Բայց եթե Ադրբեջանի ողջ քարոզչամեքենան հիմա շարունակում է իր սովորական անօգուտ և սխալ պնդումները՝ հայկական կողմի օկուպացիայիօկուպացիայի և սադրանքների մասին, ապա ու՞ր էին այդ բոլոր ձայները, երբ ադրբեջանցի զինվորներն անցած տարի Թալիշում սպանեցին և անդամահատեցին անօգնական ծեր մարդկանց: Որտե՞ղ էին նրանք, որ պետք է պահանջեին դադարեցնել ադրբեջանցի դիպուկահարի գործողությունները և նրանց ներխուժումը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հյուսիս: Իհարկե, ոչ մի տեղ չկային, ինչը վկայում է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմի միտումնավոր վայրագությունները իրականացվել են Բաքվի ռեժիմի հանձնարարությամբ, իսկ հայկական կողմի պաշտպանության հետևանքով գրանցված կորուստները նրանց կողմից մեկնաբանվում են որպես վայրագություններ»,- նկատեց նա:
