Ռուս պատմաբանը Թուրքիայում պաշտպանում է հայ դատը

Ռուս պատմաբան Վիկտոր Զախարովը, ով արդեն 25 տարի ուսումնասիրում է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, խոստովանում է, որ Թուրքիայում հաճախ է բարձրացրել ոչ միայն Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման, այլեւ փոխհատուցման հարցը: Վերջին նման հանդիպումը եղել է Անկարայում, երբ երկրի նախագահ Էրդողանի օգնականը նրան ասել է, թե Թուրքիայում վախենում են, որ ցեղասպանության ճանաչումից հետո հայերը գումար կպահանջեն:
«Ես ասացի, իսկ դուք ի՞նչ եք ակնկալում: Առաջին հերթին, Ցեղասպանության ճանաչումից հետո, պարտադիր չէ, որ միանգամից վճարեք, դուք կարող եք վճարել մաս-մաս, տարիներ շարունակ, ինչպես կատարում է Գերմանիան»: Էրդողանի օգնականն ասաց. «Ես դա կփոխանցեմ պարոն Էրդողանին»,- ասում է Վիկտոր Զախարովը` վստահ, որ տարածքային փոխհատուցում պարտադիր պետք է լինի: «Ես թուրքերին միշտ ասում եմ, որ նրանք պետք է ներողություն խնդրեն հայերից, լուծեն տարածքային հարցերն ու որոշեն, թե ինչպես ապրել հետագայում»,- ասում է Զախարովը` հավելելով, որ թուրքերի ներկայացրած լքված տարածքներն իրականում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետեւանք են: Զախարովը շեշտում է, թե իր համար անընդունելի է, որ Իսրայելը չի ճանաչում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, քանի որ հոլոքոստը Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը չդատապարտելու հետեւանք է: «Այն, ինչ այսօր տեղի է ունենում Մերձավոր Արեւելքում, Հայոց ցեղասպանության շարունակությունն է: Այն, ինչ այսօր անում է «Իսլամական պետությունը», չի տարբերվում 100 տարի առաջ կատարածից: Նրանք բնաջնջում են քրիստոնյանե րին, տարբեր ազգերի ներկայացուցիչների: Միջազգային հանրությունն էլ ինչպես 100 տարի առաջ տեսնում է, թե ինչ է կատարվում, բայց ոչինչ չի ձեռնարկում: Միջազգային հանրության համար այնքան նույնն է այս ամենը: Նրանք այսպես են մտածում` կարեւորը իմ շուրջ չի կատարվում, կարեւորը ես այդ խնդրում չկամ»,- ասաց Վիկտոր Զախարովը:
