2016 թվականին, երբ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ երկրների միջև առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալները շարունակում էին կրճատվել, Հայաստանի առևտրաշրջանառությունն աճում էր: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին հուլիսի 6-ին «Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը երկու տարի Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունում: Առաջին արդյունքները» թեմայով կլոր սեղան-քննարկման ընթացքում ասաց Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի անդամ, ինտեգրման և մակրոտնտեսության հարցերով նախարար Տատյանա Վալովայան: Նրա խոսքով` 2016 թվականին Հայաստանից արտահանումները ԵԱՏՄ տարածք աճել են ավելի քան 50 տոկոսով` այն էլ բավական դժվար տնտեսական իրավիճակի պայմաններում:
«Արտահանման աճը կատարվել է գյուղմթերքի ու թեթև արդյունաբերական ապրանքների հաշվին։ Օրինակ՝ պոմիդորի արտահանումը 15 տոկոսով աճել է, խաղողի արտահանումը՝ 10 տոկոսով։ Մենք նույնը տեսնում ենք նաև 2017 թվականի մասով՝ 25 տոկոսով այս տարի արտահանումն աճել է. մեզ դա ուրախացնում է: Հայաստանն այս տարեսկզբի դրությամբ արդյունաբերական արտադրանքի տեմպերով առաջատարն է եղել՝ անցած տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ գրանցելով 13 տոկոս աճ»,- ասաց Վալովայան` հավելելով, որ սրանք շատ բարձր ցուցանիշներ են, որոնք հնարավոր են դարձել միայն Հայաստանի՝ ԵԱՏՄ մուտք գործելու և դեպի մեծ շուկա հասանելիություն ստանալու շնորհիվ:
ԵՏՀ նախարարի խոսքով` վիճակագրությունը լավն է, սակայն սպասելիքներն ավելին էին, դրա համար էլ ցանկանում են անկեղծ խոսել կառավարության և բիզնեսի ներկայացուցիչների հետ՝ ինչ է ստացվել, ինչ չի ստացվել, ինչ պետք է անեն, որ Հայաստանն ավելի արագ ադապտացվի ԵԱՏՄ-ին:
