Միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է հետաքննություն իրականացնի Ադրբեջանի կողմից դիվանագիտական չվերթների անվան տակ ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներին զենք մատակարարելու վերաբերյալ հրապարակման առնչությամբ և հստակ գնահատական տա այդ պետության գործողություններին: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:  

«Անձամբ ինձ համար անակնկալ չէ, որովհետև Ադրբեջանն ահաբեկչական պետություն է: Ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ Ադրբեջանի գործողությունները նույնն էին, ինչ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման գործողությունները Մերձավոր Արևելքում՝ խաղաղ բնակիչների խոշտանգում, զինվորների գլխատում, մահացածների մարմինների խոշտանգում: Նույն ձեռագիրն է: 1990-ական թվականներին արցախյան պատերազմի տարիներին Ադրբեջանի կողմից կռվում էին բազմաթիվ ահաբեկիչներ: Այսինքն, սա նորություն չէ: Եվ երբ մենք ասում ենք, որ Ադրբեջանը և Թուրքիան ահաբեկչական վարքագիծ ունեցող պետություններ են, տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության լուրջ սպառնալիք են, չենք ասում նրա համար, որովհետև ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությունը կարգավորված չէ: Մենք այդ ամենն ասում ենք՝ հաշվի առնելով այն իրականությունը, հաշվի առնելով այն գործողությունները, որ տարիներ շարունակ իրականացրել է Ադրբեջանը»,- ընդգծեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ այս հարցերը պետք է շատ լուրջ ուշադրության արժանանան միջազգային հանրության կողմից, և, եթե պարզվի, որ դա իրականություն է, այդ ժամանակ արդեն միջազգային կառույցները չպետք է բավարարվեն միայն հայտարարություններով, այլ հստակ պատժամիջոցներ կիրառեն Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ:

Շարմազանովի համար նորություն չէ այն, որ Ադրբեջանը կարող է նման կապեր ունենալ ահաբեկչական տարբեր կառույցների հետ, որովհետև արցախյան պատերազմի տարիներին նրանք համագործակցել են բազմաթիվ ահաբեկիչների հետ, իսկ մեկ տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը գործել են այնպես, ինչպես գործում է «Իսլամական պետություն»-ը Մերձավոր Արևելքում: «Ավելին, Ադրբեջանն այդ ահաբեկիչներին պարգևներ էր հանձնում: Ադրբեջանն այն պետությունն է, որն ամենամեծ ահաբեկիչներից մեկին՝ Ռամիլ Սաֆարովին, ով կացնով սպանել էր քնած հայ սպային, հերոսացնում է: Սա է Ադրբեջանի իրական դեմքը: Եվ սա նաև հետևանք է անպատժելիության, երբ աչք են փակում Սաֆարովի արտահանձման վրա, ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ Ադրբեջանի կատարած ահաբեկչական գործողությունների, դրանից հետո այդ երկրի ղեկավարության լկտի պահվածքի վրա, որ արհամարհում են Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունները, հարևան պետության նկատմամբ տարածքային հավակնություններ ունենալու վրա, բերում է նրան, որ Ադրբեջանն ավելի է լկտիանում, իսկ երբ լկտիանում է, շատ ավելի վտանգավոր է դառնում»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:
