«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. 

«Երեկ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Գլխավոր դատախազությունում մասնակցել է Դատախազության աշխատողի օրվան եւ դատախազության 99-ամյակին նվիրված հանդիսավոր նիստին ու պարգեւատրել մի շարք անձանց: Երեւան քաղաքի Աջափնյակ եւ Դավթաշեն վարչական շրջանների դատախազ, արդարադատության առաջին դասի խորհրդական Սիսակ Ժորժիկի Խաչատրյանին շնորհել են արդարադատության երրորդ դասի պետական խորհրդականի դասային աստիճան: Նա ֆինանսների նախկին նախարար, այժմ նախագահի խորհրդական Վարդան Խաչատրյանի եղբայրն է:

Մյուս պարգեւատրվածը եւս պատահական մարդ չէ, Սերժ Սարգսյանը Սահմանադրական դատարանի նախագահ Գագիկ Հարությունյանի որդուն՝ Գլխավոր դատախազության հետաքննության եւ նախաքննության օրինականության նկատմամբ հսկողության վարչության պետ Արտակ Հարությունյանին պարգեւատրել է «Մխիթար Գոշ» մեդալով:

Հաջորդ պարգեւատրվածի համար թերեւս Արթուր Դավթյանն է բարեխոսել՝ մեղադրանքի պաշտպանության եւ դատական ակտերի բողոքարկման վարչության պետ Գեւորգ Բաղդասարյանն ստացել է «Մխիթար Գոշ» մեդալ: Նա գլխավոր դատախազի մտերիմն է, նրա տեղակալն էր քաղաքի դատախազ եղած ժամանակ, եւ առաջխաղացման գրավականը Դավթյանի նշանակումն էր:

Հաջորդ պարգեւատրված էլ նախկին քննիչ Հայկ Ասլանյանն է, գլխավոր դատախազի տեղակալ, արդարադատության առաջին դասի խորհրդական․ նրան շնորհվել է արդարադատության երրորդ դասի պետական խորհրդականի դասային աստիճան:  

Նշենք, որ Դատախազի օրը հուլիսի 1-ն է, սակայն նշեցին հուլիսի 3-ին, երբ նախագահն այցելեց դատախազություն: Ի դեպ, նախկին դատախազ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանը 2015թ․ այդ օրը հրավիրել էր նաեւ ոխերիմ «բարեկամ» Աղվան Հովսեփյանին, անգամ ցուցադրաբար պարգեւատրել նրան: Սակայն Արթուր Դավթյանը նման ձեւականությունների ետեւից չի ընկել»:
