ԱՄՆ պետդեպը հրապարակել է Հայաստանում կրոնական ազատությունների վերաբերյալ զեկույցը

Հայաստանի սահմանադրությունը երաշխավորում է կրոնական ազատությունն ու հաստատում եկեղեցու և պետության տարանջատվածության սկզբունքը՝ միաժանակ ճանաչելով Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին որպես ազգային եկեղեցի և ազգային ինքնության պահապան: Այս մասին նշվում է ԱՄՆ պետդեպի հրապարակած՝ «Միջազգայ ին կրոնական ազատություն-2014» զեկույցի՝ Հայաստանին առնչվող հատվածում:

Զեկույցում նշվում է, որ 3.1 միլիոն (2014 թվականի հուլիսի տվյալներով) բնակչություն ունեցող Հայաստանում 2011 թվականի տվյալներով բնակչության 92 տոկոսն իրեն Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հետևորդ է համարում: Մյուս կրոնական խմբերի մեջ, որոնք կազմում են բնակչության 5 տոկոսից պակաս մասը, մտնում են Հռոմեական կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու և Հայկական Մխիթարյան միաբանության հետևորդ կաթոլիկներ, ուղղափառ քրիստոնյաներ, հայ ավետարանչական եկեղեցու հետևորդ քրիստոնյաներ, մոլոկաններ, հիսունականներ, յոթերորդ օրվա ադվենտիստներ, բապտիստներ, խարիզմատիկ քրիստոնյաների տարբեր խմÕ �եր, Եհովայի վկաներ, Հիսուս Քրիստոսի վերջին օրերի սրբերի եկեղեցու հետևորդներ (մորմոններ), եզդիներ (եզիդիզմին հարող ոչ մահմեդական քրդեր), հրեաներ, սուննի մահմեդական քրդեր, շիա մահմեդականներ և հեթանոսներ:

Եզդիները հիմնականում կենտրոնացված են Արագած լեռանը հարող գյուղական բնակավայրերում` մայրաքաղաք Երևանից դեպի հյուսիս- արևմուտք: Հայ կաթոլիկները հիմնականում բնակվում են հյուսիսում, մինչդեռ հրեաները, մորմոնները, բահայականներն ու ուղղափառ քրիստոնյաները, ինչպես նաև հիմնականում շիա մահմեդականների փոքրիկ համայնքը` կազմված իրանցիներից ու Միջին Արևելքի երկրներից եկած ժամանակավոր բնակիչներից, բնակվում են Երևանում:

ԱՄՆ պետդեպի զեկույցում նշվում է, որ թեպետ Սահմանադրությամբ ամրագրվում է կրոնական ազատությունը և կրոնական հավատքի դավանելու, այն ընտրելու կամ փոխելու իրավունքը, սակայն երկրի Մայր օրենքը նաև ճանաչում է «հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու առանձնահատուկ դերը՝ որպես ազգային եկեղեցի հայ ժողովրդի հոգևոր կյանքում, ազգային մշակույթի զարգացման մեջ, և ազգային ինքնության պահպանման գործում»: Սահմանադրությունը հստակորեն ընդգծում է ցանկացած մարդու դավանանքի ազատությունը՝ սահամանփակելով այն միայն այն պարագայում, երբ դա վնասում է հանրային անվտանգոÖ �թյանը, առողջությանն ու բարոյականությանը:

ԱՄՆ պետդեպի նոր զեկույցում ընդգծվում է, որ թեպետ օրենքը սահմանում է, որ հանրային կրթությունն աշխարհիկ է, սակայն հայկական դպրոցներում 5-11-րդ դասարանների աշակերտներն անցնում են Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու պատմություն: Եկեղեցին իրավունք ունի մասնակցելու այդ դասագրքերի և դասընթացը վարող ուսուցիչների պատրաստման գործընթացին: Զեկույցում նշվում է, որ դասընթացներից աշակերտները հրաժարվել չեն կարող: Հիշատակվում է նաև այն փաստը, որ Հայ առաքեալական եկեղեցու հետևորդներն ունեն անվճար մուտք կամ իրավունք ունենալու ներկայացուցիչներ հիվանդանոցներում , մանկատներում, գիշերօթիկներում, զորամասերում, մինչդեռ մյուս կրոնական խմբերի ներկայացուցիչները վերոնշյալ վայրերում կարող են իրենց ներկայացուցչին ունենալ միայն այդ նպատակով հարցում անելու և դրական պատասխան ստանալու պարագայում:
