Տանը պահվող կատուն օջախի պահապանն է: Այս ձեռնասունը կարող է ազատել ցավերից, նյարդային լարվածությունից, հեռու պահել աչքից, վնասվելուց եւ անախորժություններից:
Կատուները բացասական էներգիայով են սնվում, այնպես որ` այնտեղ, որտեղ այս կենդանին կա, ցանկացած բացասական բան կվերանա: Չնայած կատուները դրական են ազդում տան մթնոլորտի վրա, նրանք կարող են նաեւ անախորժություններ գրավել: Այս կենդանիները կարող են մարդուն էներգետիկ մեծ վնաս պատճառել այն դեպքում, եթե տերը նրանց վատ է վերաբերվում:
Այն մարդկանց է խորհուրդ տրվում կատու պահել, որոնք իրենց տանն անհարմարավետություն եւ լարվածություն են զգում: Տանը պարտադիր պետք է միայն մեկ կատու պահել: Երկու կամ ավելի կատուները չեն կարող տուն հաջողություն գրավել եւ տիրոջը դժբախտությունից պահպանել, քանի որ այդ դեպքում նրանք զբաղված կլինեն միայն միմյանցով:

Տանը շուն պահելու դեպքում հարկավոր է ավելի խնամքով վերաբերվել: Ֆեն շույի համաձայն` այս կենդանիները կարողանում են իրենց մտքերը մարդուն հաղորդել, որը կարող է տխուր հետեւանքների հանգեցնել: Չարժի շանը նեղացնել, քանի որ նա կարող է իր մեջ կուտակվող բացասական էներգետիկայի միջոցով պատահաբար տիրոջն անիծել: Շունը կարող է տուն կայունություն եւ բարեհաջողություն բերել միայն այն դեպքում, եթե զգա իր տերերի սերը: Իսկ եթե նրան հաճախ վնասեն, ապա դա այն բանի ակնհայտ նշանը կլինի, որ նա տուն ոչ մի լավ բան չի բերի, եւ նրանից դուք միայն բացասականը կստանաք:

Խորհուրդ չի տրվում տանը թռչուններ եւ կրծողներ պահել: Թութակները, դեղձանիկները եւ այլ փետրավորները տուն են գրավում բամբասանք, ինտրիգներ եւ ոչ պիտանի տեղեկություններ: Իսկ կրծողները (առնետներ, համստերներ, մկներ, ծովախոզուկներ եւ այլն) դանդաղեցնում են իրենց տիրոջ անհատական զարգացումը եւ ֆինանսական գործերի մեջ անհաջողություն են գրավում:
Տնային կենդանին առաջին հերթին պետք է սիրելի լինի: Միայն այդ դեպքում նա իր տիրոջը հավարտամությամբ ու անկեղծությամբ կծառայի եւ տուն կգրավի փող, հաջողություն ու սեր:
