«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Այս օրերին Բաքվում է ռուս հասարակական–քաղաքական գործիչ, հայտնի գրող Ալեքսանդր Պրոխանովը: Նա հանդիպումներ է ունեցել Իլհամ Ալիևի, Մեհրիբան Ալիևվայի, Միլի մեջլիսի պատգամավորների, մտավորականության, Ղարաբաղից արտագաղթածների և տարբեր կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարների հետ:
Պրոխանովն ամենուրեք հակահայկական ելույթներ է ունենում:
Ղարաբաղից արտագաղթածների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նա, դիմելով, այսպես կոչված, Շուշիի գործադիր իշխանության ղեկավար Բայրամ Սաֆարովին, ասել է. «Դուք ինչպե՞ս կորցրիք Շուշին: Չէ՞ որ այն անառիկ ամրոց էր»: Նա երանությամբ է հիշել տխրահռչակ Վիկտոր Պոլյանիչկոյին, ով 1988–91–ին Ադրբեջանի Կոմկուսի կենտկոմի երկրորդ քարտուղարն էր և վարում էր ծայրահեղ հայատյաց քաղաքականություն: Հենց Պոլյանիչկոյի ղեկավարությամբ են կազմակերպել ԼՂԻՄ–ի և Ադրբեջանի տարբեր շրջաններից հայ բնակչության բռնի տեղահանման, ղարաբաղյան շարժման ակտիվիստների ձերբակալման գործողությունները:
Հանդիպումների ժամանակ Պրոխանովը, ում մայրը ծնունդով Ադրբեջանից էր՝ Իվանովկա գյուղից, հաճախ է «հայրենասիրության» դասեր տալիս ադրբեջանցիներին և տարակուսում. «Ինչո՞ւ Ադրբեջանը զենքի ուժով չի վերցնում հողերը»:
