Ամերիկյան Time ամսագիրը հրապարակել է համացանցի 25 ամենաազդեցիկ օգտատերերի ցանկը, որում ներառել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին և սիրիական Հալեպ քաղաքի աղջիկ-բլոգեր Բանա Ալաբեդին:
Ամսագիրը Դոնալդ Թրամփին ներառել է «Համացանցի 25 ամենաազդեցիկ մարդկանց» ցուցակում՝ Twitter-ի պաշտոնական և անհատական էջերում պարբերաբար գրառումներ անելու համար: Ցանկի հեղինակների կարծիքով՝ ինչպես հասարակության, այնպես էլ պաշտոնական անձանց շրջանում ոչ միանշանակ արձագանք առաջացնող հաղորդագրությունները որոշ դեպքերում «վնաս են հասցնում նրա նախագահությանը»:
«Սակայն, չնայած անսահման դրամայի առկայությանը, կամ շնորհիվ այդ դրամայի, այժմ Թրամփը Twitter-ում ամենաշատ հետևորդներ ունեցող համաշխարհային առաջնորդն է, ինչը նրան հնարավորություն է տալիս բավական արդյունավետ կերպով տեղ ահսցնել ուղերձներն իր պայմաններով», - գրել է ամսագիրը:
Սիրիական Հալեպի բնակչուհի Բանա Ալաբեդը հայտնիություն է ձեռք բերել նույնպես թվիթերյան գրառումների համար, որոնց օգնությամբ «աշխարհն իմացել է Սիրիայի քաղաքացիական պատերազմների սարսափների մասին այն ժամանակ, երբ ոչ այնքան շատ լրագրողներ կարողացել են տարածաշրջան գալ»: Հայտնի է, որ անցած տարվա դեկտեմբերին աղջիկն իր ծնողների հետ փախստականի կարգավիճակով տեղափոխվել է Թուրքիա:
