Թուրքիայի առաջնորդ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, նստած 100-սենյականոց պալատում, գոռգոռում է թշնամիների վրա` պատերազմով, բախումներով եւ մեղադրանքներով երկիրը բաժանելով մասերի: Սահմանում ընդարձակվող պատերազմի մեջ հայտնված Թուրքիան ընկղմվում է քաոսի մեջ:
Այսպես է բնութագրել անգլիական The Times թերթն իր` «Թուրքիան Եվրոպայի հիվանդ մարդն է « վերտառությամբ հոդվածում վերջին մի քանի ամիսներին Թուրքիայում ստեղծված ներքաղաքական իրավիճակը:
Թերթը գրում է, որ Թուրքիայում առկա դրությունը վատ է անդրադառնալու Եվրոպայի վրա, եւ եթե Թուրքիան փլուզվի, ապա Արեւմուտքի համար ծանր կլինի դրա գինը:
«Թուրքիան վերածվել է կործանարար դաշնակցի: Անկարայում տեղի ունեցած հարձակման ալիքները տարածվում են ամբողջ երկրով մեկ: Էրդողանի ղեկավարության վերջին 10 տարիներին թուրքական հասարակությունը խիստ բեւեռացել է: Ուժը ձեռքում հավաքելու Էրդողանի ցանկությունը բացասական հետեւանքների է բերել ոչ միայն ներքին, այլ նաեւ արտաքին քաղաքականության մեջ: Այս իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում Թուրքիայի կայունություն ապահովող հեղինակությունը վերածել է խառնակ, երբեմն էլ` կործանարար դաշնակցի», -գրում է թերթը:
The Times-ը գրում է, որ «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ միջազգային գործողություններին աջակցելու մասին հայտարարությունից անմիջապես հետո Թուրքիան սկսեց հարվածներ հասցնել քրդական թիրախներին, ինչը հանդիսանում է Էրդողանի քաղաքականության «դավաճանության վախի գործոնը»: Թերթը դա բացատրում է այն բանով, որ սիրիացի քրդերին Սպիտակ տան աջակցությունը Էրդողանն ընկալել է որպես իրեն արված «դավաճանություն»:
Ըստ թերթի` եթե Էրդողանը չդադարեցնի քրդերի դեմ հարվածները եւ սահմաններում պատերազմը շարունակվի, ապա քրդերը կանջատվեն Թուրքիայից:
«Պետք է դադարեցնել Թուրքիայի սահմաններում ընթացող պատերազմը: Եթե այն շարունակվի, վաղ թե ուշ քրդերը կանջատվեն Թուրքիայից, ինչը կնշանակի, որ կմեծանա նաեւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հարավի փլուզվելու պոտենցիալը», -ամփոփել է թերթը:
