 ԿԸՀ նախագահ Տիգրան Մուկուչյանը չի ցանկանում անդրադառնալ Հայաստանում Եվրամիության պատվիրակության ղեկավար դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկու՝ Հայաստանում անցկացված խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքների վերաբերյալ հայտարարություններին, քանի որ դա իր իրավասության սահմաններում չէ:

«Այդ հարցի վերաբերյալ արձագանք արդեն եղել է, այլեւս ավելացնելու որեւէ բան չունեմ: Մենք ապաքաղաքական մարմին ենք, հետեւաբար ինձնից մի փորձեք լսել հարցերի պատասխաններ, որոնք ԿԸՀ իրավասության առարկա չեն հանդիսանում»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ԿԸՀ-ում գումարված արտահերթ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Տիգրան Մուկուչյանը:

Ավելի վաղ Հայաստանում ապրիլի 2-ին անցկացված ընտրությունների արդյունքների վերաբերյալ Եվրոպական խորհրդի կազմակերպած քննարկման ժամանակ Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին խոսել էր ընտրակաշառքների բաժանման, ընտրական այլ խախտումների մասին, իսկ Տիգրանը Մուկուչյանը հորդորել էր տեսակետներ ներկայացնելիս լինել ազնիվ եւ անկեղծ, գույները չխտացնել՝ շեշտադրումներ անելով ընդամենը մեկ տոկոս խափանումների վրա: 

Պյոտր Սվիտալսկու հայտարարությունից հետո ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարարը հայտարարել էր, որ դա փորձ է խառնվելու Հայաստանի ներքին խնդիրներին, իսկ ԵՄ ղեկավարը հունիսի 20-ին կայացած ասուլիսի ժամանակ նշել էր, որ իր ուղերձը հստակորեն տեղ հասցնելու համար հանրային հայտարարությունների կարիք չունի, իր գնահատականն ու կարծիքը անհայտ չեն իր զրուցակիցներին եւ պատասխանատուներին:

«Պետք է դրական տրամադրվել հանրային քննարկումներին եւ բանավեճերին, սակայն կարեւոր է հետեւել որոշակի տարրական կանոնների. նախքան ինչ-որ բան արտահայտելը, իմացեք՝  ինչ է ասվել, կրկին նայեք տեսանյութը, լսեք ձայնագրությունը, մտածեք, հարգեք ձեր զրուցակցին»:
