Սարի թաղում 2016թ. հուլիսի 19-ի դեպքերով հարուցված քրեական գործի շրջանակում կալանավորված Սարի թաղի 10 բնակիչների գործով դատական նիստնին հարցաքննվել է գործով տուժող ճանաչված ոստիկանը: Երեւանի Էրեբունի եւ Նուբարաշեն վարչական շրջանների ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանում տուժող ոստիկան Ա. Թիրաբյանը նշեց, որ դեպքի օրը Երեւանի Խորենացի եւ Գլինկա փողոցների հարակից տարածքում ծառայություն է իրականացնելիս եղել, լսել է հավաքված ցուցարարների ձայնը, մոտեցել է նրանց, որպեսզի հասկանա, թե ինչ է կատարվում: Այդ պահին իր ոտքին քար է ընկել եւ վերադասից հրաման է ստացել եւ 8 անգամ օդ է կրակել: Թե կրակելու հրաման ումից է ստացել, գործով տուժողը նշեց, թե չի ճանաչում նրան:
Ա. Թիրաբյանը նաեւ նշեց, որ հուլիսի 19-ին լրագրողների նկատամամբ ոստիկանները բռնություն չեն կիրառել, ոչ էլ նրանց ձեռքից տեսախցիկ են խլել:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ըստ մեղադրական եզրակացության՝ Սարի թաղի բնակիչներ Հրաչյա Բոյաջյանը, Արման Ադամյանն ու Ժորա Ավետիսյանը 2016թ․ հուլիսի 19-ին ժամը 20.00-ի սահմանում Մովսես Խորենացի փողոցին հարող` Գլինկա եւ Որմնադիրների փողոցների հատման վայրում մի խումբ անձանց հետ, առողջության համար վտանգավոր բռնություն են գործադրել իրենց ծառայողական պարտականությունները կատարող, իշխանության ներկայացուցիչ համարվող ՀՀ ոստիկանության մի շարք ծառայողների նկատմամբ: Նրանց մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել Քրեական օրենսգրքի 316-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասով: Բոլորն էլ կալանավորված են: Կալանավորվածների հարազատները մինչդեռ պնդում են՝ նրանք ընդամենը պահանջել են, որ իրենց հոսանքն ու ջուրը միացնեն, բացեն փակ ճանապարհները:
