Ռիգայի գագաթաժողովը Հայաստանի համար մի քանի դրական արդյունքներ է ունեցել, այսօր հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում անդրադառնալով Արևելյան գործընկերության Ռիգայի գագաթաժողովին, հայտարարեց Ազգային ժողովի արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ, «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչ Թևան Պողոսյանը:
«Առաջինն այն է, որ Եվրամիությունը հավատարիմ մնաց ճկուն քաղաքականությանը և Հայաստանի խնդիրները հաշվի առնելով Հայաստանին տրամադրվեց նոր բանակցություններ սկսելու մանդատը: Հույս ունենանք, որ մինչև 2015-ի ավարտը նոր համապարփակ փաստաթուղթ կունենանք: Իհարկե, այդ փաստաթուղթը կլինի ոչ միայն քաղաքական, այլ նաև տնտեսական բաղադրիչ կունենա»,- ասաց Թևան Պողոսյանը:
Հաջորդ հնարավոր հաջողությունը, ըստ պատգամավորի, այն է, որ անցում կլինի դեպի վիզաների ազատականացման ծրագրի, ինչը ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին հնարավորություն կտա եվրոպական երկրներ այցելել առանց վիզաների:
ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերություններում բաց երկնքի քաղաքականությունը ևս Հայաստանի համար լավ հնարավորությունների շարքից է: «Բոլոր ձևակերպումները, որոնք տեղ են գտել հռչակագրում, չեն պարունակում որևէ մի վիճակ, որը Հայաստանի համար վտանգավոր լինի, ի տարբերություն մեր հարևան երկրների, որոնք փորձում էին ցուցադրաբար ձախողել հռչակագրի ընդունումը: Այն դրական դաշտը, որ այսօր նշված է, միանշանակ երկուստեք ողջունելի է»,- նկատեց Թևան Պողոսյանը:
Անդրադաառնալով Հայաստան-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների լավացման հարցում ԵՏՄ-ի արձագանքին, Թևան Պողոսյանն ասաց, որ և՛ Հայաստանը, և՛ ԵՄ-ն 2013-ի սեպտեմբերի 3-ից հետո իրենց դասերն առել են, և ՌԴ արտգործնախարարն ասել էր, որ իրենք դեմ չեն ԵՄ-ի բազմավեկտոր քաղաքականությանը:
«Եվ եթե հաշվի առնենք նաև այն, որ ՀՀ արտգործնախարարն էլ է բազմիցս խոսում բազմավեկտոր քաղաքականության մասին, ապա պետք է նշել, որ մենք պետք է մեր շահերը գիտակցենք»,- հայտարարեց պատգամավորը՝ միաժամանակ հավելելով, թե այն ճանապարհը, որ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստվում է անցնել Հայաստանի հետ, բխում է նաև ԵՄ-ի շահերից:
