Եվրախորհրդարանը խնդրում է ԵՄ-ին պաշտոնապես դադարեցնել Միությանն անդամակցելու շուրջ Թուրքիայի հետ բանակցությունները

Եվրախորհրդարանի արտաքին գործերի գծով կոմիտեն Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովին և Եվրոպական միության անդամ երկրներին կոչ է արել պաշտոնապես դադարեցնել Թուրքիայի՝ ԵՄ-ին անդամակցելու շուրջ բանակցությունները: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը: Եվրոպական խորհրդարանում կոչ են արել իրականացնել այդ, եթե Թուրքիայի սահմանադրական բարեփոխումները փոփոխության չենթարկվեն:
«Հաշվի առնելով վերջերս Թուրքիայում տեղի ունեցած հանրաքվեի արդյունքները և երկրում նախագահի լիազորությունների ընդարձակումը՝ ԵԽ Արտաքին գործերի կոմիտեն Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովին և ԵՄ անդամ պետությունների ազգային կառավարություններին կոչ է անում պաշտոնապես դադարեցնել Թուրքիայի՝ ԵՄ անդամակցության շուրջ բանակցությունները, եթե ընդունված նոր սահմանադրության մեջ չկատարվեն անհրաժեշտ փոփոխությունները և այն հաստատվի հենց այդպես»,- նշվել է ԵԽ նիստում:
Այս բանաձևի տակ ստորագրել են հանձնաժողովի բոլոր անդամները: Սպասվում է, որ այն Եվրոխորհրդարանում կքննարկվի հուլիսին:
Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հանրաքվեից հետո 2017 թվականի ապրիլի 16-ին հայտարարել էր, որ հանրաքվեի արդյունքները կքննարկի վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմի հետ, որպեսզի Թուրքիայում վերականգնվի նաև մահապատիժը, ինչն ամբողջությամբ հակասում է ԵՄ գաղափարներին ու արժեքներին և կտրականապես մերժվում նրա կողմից:
