Գերմանիայի Համբուրգ քաղաքում հուլիսի 11-ին կայանալիք G-20 երկրների գագաթնաժողովից առաջ տեղի ոստիկանությունը հատուկ միջոցներ է ձեռնարկել Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի թիկնազորի դեմ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է թուրքական Diken-ը:
Համբուրգի ոստիկանության պետ Ռալֆ Մարտին Մեյերը հայտարարել է, որ իրենք թույլ չեն տալու օտարերկրյա ղեկավարների թիկնազորներին իրենց երկրում անկարգություններ անել: «Թույլ չենք տա, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանի թիկնազորի կողմից Վաշինգտոնում ցուցարարների վրա իրականացված հարձակման նման դեպքեր Համբուրգում էլ կրկնվեն»,- ասել է Մեյերը:
Նա նշել է, որ թիկնազորի անդամներն իրավունք ունեն միջամտելու միայն այն դեպքում, երբ իրենց ղեկավարը հարձակման թիրախում է: Բացի այդ, Մեյերը հայտնել է, որ անվտանգության աշխատակիցներին թույլատրվելու է զենք կրել միայն հատուկ թույլտվության պարագայում:
Միացյալ Նահանգներ այցելող Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի դեմ մայրաքաղաք Վաշինգտոնում կազմակերպված խաղաղ ցույցի մասնակիցները մի խումբ թուրք ազգայնամոլների կատաղի հարձակման թիրախ են դարձել: Մի քանի վիրավորներ արնաշաղախ հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխվել: Հայտնի է դարձել, որ հարձակումն իրականացրել են Էրդողանի անվտանգության աշխատակիցները: Ավելի ուշ հայտնված տեսանյութում երևում է, թե ինչպես է հենց Էրդողանը տալիս ցուցարարների վրա հարձակվելու հրահանգը:
Վաշինգտոնի քաղաքապետ Մուրիել Բոուսերը և ոստիկանապետ Փիթեր Նյուշեմը հունիսի 15-ին կայացած համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարել են, որ մայիսի 16-ին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա հարձակում իրականացրած՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի կողմնակից խմբի 12 անդամի ձերբակալության հրաման է տրվել:
