Արցախում գործող 16 հիդրոէլեկտրակայաններից բացի իրականացվում է ևս 8 փոքր ՀԷԿ-երի կառուցման աշխատանքներ

Արցախի տնտեսության հիմնասյուներից՝ հիդրոէներգետիկան, շարունակում է համարվել Արցախի տնտեսության զարգացման առաջնային ուղղություններից մեկը: 2017թ. բարձր տեմպերով շարունակվում է փոքր ՀԷԿ-երի կառուցման  ոլորտում ներդրումների իրականացումը, որն էլ նպաստում է Արցախի էներգետիկ անվտանգության  խնդրի լուծմանն ու հանրապետությունում ինքնաբավության շեմի հաղթահարմանը:

Այսօր Արցախում գործում են 16 հիդրոէլեկտրակայաններ, այդ թվում Սարսանգ ՀԷԿ՝ 50 ՄՎտ դրվածքային հզորությամբ և 15  փոքր ՀԷԿ-եր՝ 52 ՄՎտ ընդանուր դրվածքային հզորությամբ: Միայն 2017թ. շահագործման է հանձնվել 2 փոքր ՀԷԿ՝Ջերմաջուր (6 ՄՎտհզորությամբ) ևՎիկինգ (1,8 ՄՎտհզորությամբ) ՀԷԿ-երը: Հանրապետությունում իրականացվում է ևս 8 փոքր ՀԷԿ-երի կառուցման աշխատանքներ, որոնց էլեկտրաէներգիայի տարեկան արտադրության ծավալը կազմելու է շուրջ 263,02 մլնԿվտ/ժ: 2017թ. առաջին եռամսյակում Արցախի Հանրապետությունում արտադրվէլ է 83,33 մլնկՎտժ էլեկտրաէներգիա, որը 2016թ. նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ աճել է 3,59%-ով, կամ 2,89 մլնկՎտժ-ով: Նույնժ ամանակահատվածում երկրում սպառված էլեկտրաէներգիան կազմել է 90,93 մլնկՎտժ, որը նախորդ տարվահ ամեմատ աճել է 5,71 %-ով, կամ 4,91 մլնկՎտժ-ով:

Ավարտվել և շահագործման է հանձնվել նաև տնտեսական մեծ նշանակություն ունեցող Սոթք-Հաթերքենթակայաններն իր արմիացնող շուրջ 82 կմ երկարությամբ 110/35/10 կՎ միաշղթա երկրորդ բարձրավոլտ օդային գիծը:
