Փախստականների երթուղին Աֆրիկայից և Մերձավոր Արևելքից դեպի Եվրոպա, որն անցնում է Միջերկրական ծովով պետք է փակվի:
ТАСС գործակալության փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին կիրակի հայտարարել են ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ, Եվրոպայի և ինտեգրման հարցերով ավստրիացի նախարար, Սեբաստիան Կուրցը և Ավստրիայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Վոլֆգանգ Սոբոտկան: Կանցլեր Քրիստիան Քերնը դեմ չէ տվյալ միջոցառմանը, սակայն ցանկանում է հստակ որոշում տեսնել:
«Միջերկրական ծովում մարդկանց փրկելուց հետո պետք է թողնել Եվրամիության արտաքին սահմանին, օգնություն ցույց տալ և հետ ուղարկել: Մարդիկ կշարունակեն մեզ մոտ գալ, քանի դեռ գործում է այն համակարգը, որը թույլ է տալիս նրանց գումար վճարել անօրինական փոխադրողներին և հայտնվել Եվրոպայում: Մաքսանենգները ավելի շատ գումար կաշխատեն, իսկ Եվրոպան կծանրաբեռնվի», - Կուրցին մեջբերում է ավստրիական պարբերականը:
Նրա խոսքով` այդ ֆոնին վատագույն սցենարը կարող է լինել ծովում ջրախեղդ եղած փախստականների թվի աճը:
Կուրցն առաջարկում է այնպիսի պայմաններ ստեղծել, որ նավակներով Լիբիայից մեկնող փախստականների հոսքը կդադարի:
