ՀՀ Սյունիքի մարզի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանը՝ դատավոր Նապոլեոն Օհանյանի նախագահությամբ, հայր և որդի Նորայր և Հայկ Շահնազարյաններին մեղավոր է ճանաչել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 118-րդ՝ ծեծը, հոդվածով, և համապատասխանաբար նրանց նկատմամբ որպես պատիժ նշանակել տուգանք 50 000 և 40 000 ՀՀ դրամի չափով: 

Ըստ Նորայր Շահնազարյանին առաջադրված մեղադրանքի, նա 2017թ. ապրիլի 2-ին անցկացվող ՀՀ ԱԺ համապետական ընտրությունների օրը հանդիսանալով կուսակցություններից մեկի հանձնաժողովի անդամ, ժամը 08:00-ից սկսած որդու` Հայկ Շահնազարյանի հետ գտնվել են հանրապետական թիվ 35 ընտրատարածքի Կապանի Ա.Մանուկյան փողոցի 1/2 հասցեում տեղակայված թիվ 13 ընտրատեղամասում՝ հայտնում է «Փաստինֆոն»։  

Ժամը 17:50-ի սահմաններում ընտրատեղամաս այցելած ընտրող Կապան քաղաքի բնակիչ Մասիս Փարսադանյանի և իր միջև ընտրակարգը խախտելու հարցի շուրջ ծագած վիճաբանության ժամանակ, իրեն հարվածելու պատճառով Մասիս Փարսադանյանին մարմնական վնասվածք պատճառելու դիտավորությամբ զուգորդված բռնի այլ գործողություններով ծեծի է ենթարկել վերջինիս, քաշքշել, ձեռքերով բազմիցս հարվածներ է հասցրել Մասիս Փարսադանյանի գլխին, մարմնի տարբեր մասերին, պատճառել ֆիզիկական ցավ և առողջության թեթև վնասի հատկանիշներ չպարունակող մարմնական վնասվածքներ` աջ ճակատային շրջանի, աջ այտային շրջանի ճանկռվածքների, քթի հիմի շրջանի քերծվածքի ձևով:
