Բռնաբարության մեջ մեղադրվող Բիլ Քոսբիի դատավարությունը չի կայացել

Սեռական բռնություն կիրառելու մեջ մեղադրվող ամերիկյան դերասան Բիլ Քոսբիի դատավարությունը հայտարարվել է չկայացած, քանի որ ատենակալները 6 օրվա ընթացքում չեն կարողացել վճիռ կայացնել դերասանի մեղավորության վերաբերյալ: Այս մասին հայտնում է BBC-ին: 12 ատենակալները (7 տղամարդ և 5 կին) 53 ժամ քննարկումներից հետո չեն կարողացել որոշում կայացնել 79-ամյա Բիլ Քոսբիի անմեղության կամ մեղավորության վերաբերյալ: 

Դատախազներն արդեն հայտարարել են, որ մտադիր են հասնել դատավարության վերաննքությանը: Եթե դատախազությունը 4 ամսվա ընթացքում նոր գործընթաց չսկսի, ապա Քոսբիին ներկայացված բոլոր մեղադրանքները կհանվեն: Դերասանի նկատմամբ քրեական գործը հարուցվել է 2015-ին, երբ տասնյակ կանայք հաղորդում են ներկայացրել, մեղադրելով Քոսբիին իրենց գայթակղելու և սեռական բռնություն կիրառելու մեջ: Քոսբիի ենթադրյալ զոհերից մեկի՝ Անդրեա Կոնստանի ցուցմունքով՝ Քոսբին 2004-ին բռնաբարել է իրեն, նախապես հոգեմետ միջոցներ տալով: Քոսբիի դեմ ցուցմունքներ են տվել 40 կանայք, որոնք պնդել են, թե նա իրենց նկատմամբ սեռական բռնություն է կիրառել:  

Սակայն այս հաղորդումներում նշված բռնությունների մեծ մասի վաղեմության ժամկետն անցել է: Միակ գործը, որի վաղեմության ժամկետը (12տարի) չի լրացել, Անդրեա Կոնստանի գործն է: Եթե Քոսբին մեղավոր ճանաչվի, ապա նրան սպառնում է 10 տարվա ազատազրկում: Ինքը՝ Քոսբին պնդում է, որ բոլոր սեռական կապերը կատարվել են փոխադարձ համաձայնությամբ: Բիլ Քոսբին երբեմնի ամենաբարձր վարձատրվող կոմիկ դերասանն էր ամերիկյան հեռուստատեսությունում: 1984-1992թթ. նրա «Շոու Քոսբի» հաղորդաշարը անհավանական ժողովրդականություն ուներ ԱՄՆ-ում և այլ երկրներում:
