Վաշինգտոնում ուսումնասիրում են ցուցարարների վրա հարձակման գործում Էրդողանի ներգրավվածությունը. Հայ դատը ողջունում է

Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը ողջունել է Վաշինգտոնի քաղաքապետ Մուրիել Բոուսերի և ոստիկանապետ Փիթեր Նյուշեմի կողմից մանրամասն հետաքննության անցկացումը, որի արդյունքում 18 մարդու ձերբակալման որոշում է ընդունվել՝ կապված ԱՄՆ մայրաքաղաքում մայիսի 16-ին խաղաղ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ Թուրքիայի դեսպանատան դիմաց իրականացված հարձակման հետ: 18 անձանց շարքում են նաև Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի անվտանգության 12 աշխատակիցներ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը կատարվածը որակել է որպես «նշանակալի քայլ դեպի արդարություն»:
«Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում քաղաքապետ Բոուսերի, ոստիկանապետ Նյուշեմի և ներգրավված բոլոր իրավապահ մարմիններ գործունեությունը, ովքեր նման քայլ են կատարել՝ մեղավորներին արդարության բերելու գործում, և ակնկալում ենք շարունակել աշխատանքը համապատասխան մարմինների հետ՝ բացահայտելու բոլոր ներգրավված անձանց: Օրինապահ մարմիններն անում ենք գործի իրենց բաժինը, այժմ ժամանակն է, որ Թրամփի վարչակարգը գործի անցնի ու պահանջի Թուրքիայից վերացնել դիվանագիտական անձեռնմխելիության պահանջները այս հանցանքում բոլոր ներգրավվածների համար, որպեսզի քրեական գործն առաջ ընթանա և արդարություն հաստատվի»,- ասել է Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբի գործադիր տնօրեն Արամ Համփարյանը:
Վաշինգտոնի քաղաքապետ Մուրիել Բոուսերը և ոստիկանապետ Փիթեր Նյուշեմը հունիսի 15-ին կայացած համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարել են, որ մայիսի 16-ին խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա հարձակում իրականացրած՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի կողմնակից խմբի անդամների ձերբակալության հրաման է տրվել: Հարձակման գործով արդեն իսկ ձերբակալվել են ԱՄՆ-ի երկու թուրք քաղաքացի, իսկ կանադացի երկու թուրքի մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել:
Նյուշեմը հայտնել էր, որ իրենք հետաքննության շրջանակում ուսումնասիրում են մայիսի 16-ի հարձակման գործում Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանի ներգրավվածության հարցը: Նա ընդգծել էր, սակայն, որ չնայած առկա տեսանյութերին ու մյուս ապացույցներին, դեռևս չկան բավարար ապացույցներ նրա ձերբակալման հրաման տալու համար:
