Տիգրան Մկրտչյանն անդրադարձել է մերձբալթյան երկրների հետ կապերի զարգացման աշխատանքներին

 Հայաստանի և Լատվիայի միջև տնտեսական կապերի զարգացման նպատակով տարվում են համապատասխան աշխատանքներ: Ինչպես հայտնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այդ մասին BaltNews.lv-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Լատվիայում Հայաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը: «Տնտեսական կապերով այսօր մեզ դժվար է հպարտանալ, քանի որ այդ ոլորտում կարելի էր ավելի մեծ ակտիվություն սպասել: Մենք լատվիական կողմի հետ աշխատում ենք, որպեսզի Հայաստանը Լատվիայում ավելի շատ նկատելի լինի և հակառակը: Այդ աշխատանքը դժվար է նրանով, որ մեր երկրները չունեն մշտական ներկայացուցչություններ»,- ասել է Մկրտչյանը, ում նստավայրը Լիտվայի մայրաքաղաք Վիլնյուսում է և համակարգում է Լիտվայի, Լատվիայի և Էստոնիայի հետ դիվանագիտական կապերը:  

Հարցազրույցը տեղի է ունեցել «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի պրեմիերայի շրջանակում, որի վարձույթը մերձբալթյան երկրներում սկսվել է Լատվիայից:

Հարցին, թե ինչպես է դեսպանը համակարգում միանգամից երեք պետությունների հետ կապերը, Մկրտչյանն պատասխանել է, որ, իհարկե, դժվար է: «Մենք աշխատում ենք Վիլնյուսից և ծածկում ենք բոլոր երեք երկրները: Ակնհայտ է, ոչ հեշտ չէ շրջագայել և միաժամանակ բոլոր երեք երկրներում ապահովել ակտիվության այն մակարդակը, որը կցանկանայինք»,- ասել է դեսպանը:

Լրագրողը նկատել է, որ Լատվիայի հետ աշխատանքներում դեսպանին հավանաբար օգնում է նրա լատվիացի կինը՝ Իլզե Պաեգլե-Մկրտչյանը, ինչի կապակցությամբ Տիգրան Մկրտչյանն ասել է. «Ոչ առանց դրա: Կինս հիմնականում զբաղվում է մշակութային կապերով և միաժամանակ հայ գրականության թարգմանությամբ, նաև նրանց, որոնք գրում են Հայաստանի, նրա մշակույթի և ցեղասպանության մասին: Բացի թարգմանություններից, քիչ բան չի անում նաև իր հարազատ Լատվիայում Հայաստանի մշակույթը ներկայացնելու համար»:
