Կատալոնիայի ինքնավար հանրակցության կազմի մեջ մտնող Բերգ մունիցիպալիտետի քաղաքապետարանը մեծ ցուցատախտակ Է տեղադրել, որի վրա հետհաշվարկ Է սկսվել մինչեւ տարածաշրջանի անկախության շուրջ անցկացվելիք հանրաքվեն: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է El Mundo թերթը: Նրա տեղեկատվության համաձայն, վահանակի վրա գրված Է. «Հանուն ժողովրդավարության, մենք քվեարկելո՛ւ ենք: Հանրաքվե-2017»: Դրա կողքին ծածանվում Է Էստելադան՝ Կատալոնիայի անջատողականների ոչ պաշտոնական դրոշը: Տաբլոյի վրա նշվում են այն օրերը, ժամերը, րոպեները եւ վայրկյանները, որոնք մնացել են մինչեւ հանրահարցումը, որը, ինչպես սպասվում Է, կկայանա հոկտեմբերի 1-ին:
Նախաձեռնությունը հավանության Է արժանացել մունիցիպալիտետի քաղաքապետ Մոնսերատ Բենտուրոսի կողմից, որը Իսպանիայից Կատալոնիայի անջատվելու օգտին հանդես եկող «Թեկնածուներ հանուն ժողովրդական միասնության» կուսակցության կողմնակիցն Է: Բերգում, որ 16 հազար բնակիչ ունի, ավելի վաղ նման ցուցատախտակ արդեն տեղադրել են:
Կատալոնիան ինքնավար հանրակցություն Է պիրենեյան թագավորության հյուսիս-արեւելքում: Վերջին տարիներին տարածաշրջանում զգալիորեն ուժեղացել են անջատողական տրամադրությունները: Անցյալ տարվա հոկտեմբերի 6-ին մարզի խորհրդարանը հավանություն տվեց Իսպանիայի կազմից դուրս գալու շուրջ հանրահարցում անցկացնելու բանաձեւին: Սակայն Իսպանիայի Սահմանադրական դատարանը (ՍԴ) չեղյալ հայտարարցլ այս փաստաթղթի գործողությունը: Հունիսի 9-ին Կատալոնիայի ղեկավար Կառլես Պուչդեմոնը հայտարարել Է, որ հանրաքվեն կկայանա ընթացիկ տարվա հոկտեմբերի 1-ին: Հարցը, որը պլանավորել են դնել հանրաքվեի, հնչելու Է հետեւյալ կերպ. «Դուք ցանկանում եք արդյոք, որ Կատալոնիան դառնա անկախ պետություն՝ կառավարման հանրապետական ձեւով»: Դրան ի պատասխան, Իսպանիայի իշխանությունները հավաստիացրել են, որ թույլ չեն տա հանրաքվե անցկացնել: Ինչպես նշել Է կրթության, մշակույթի եւ սպարտի նախարար, երկրի կառավարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ինյիգո Մենդես դե Վիգոն, Մադրիդը դատարանում կբողոքարկի հանրահարցում անցկացնելու բոլոր փորձերը, հաղորդվել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
