Թուրքիայում ընդդիմադիր Ժողորվրդահանրապետական կուսակցության պատգամավոր Էնիս Բերբերօղլուն 25 տարվա ազատազրկման է դատապարտվել պետական գաղտնիքը հրապարակելու համար, հայտնում է NTV-ն:
Բերբերօղլուն մեղադրվում է բեռնատարների խուզարկության գործով, որոնք պատկանում էին Ազգային հետախուզական կազմակերպությանը (MIT) եւ ուղեւորվում էին Սիրիա:
Բեռնատարների միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել 2014 թվականի հունվարին՝ Ադանայի նահանգում, երբ զինծառայողները զննել են MIT-ին պատկանող եւ թուրք-սիրիական սահման ուղեւորվող բեռնատարները: Cumhuriyet պարբերականը լուսանկարներ եւ հոլովակ էր հրապարակել, որոնք, պարբերականի պնդմամբ, կատարվել են բեռնատարների խուզարկության ժամանակ: Լուսանկարներում եւ հոլովակում երեւում են հրետանային արկերով, ռումբերով եւ այլ զինամթերքով արկղերը: Թուրքիայի իշխանությունների վարկածով՝ բեռնատարները սիրիացի թուրքմենների համար «լոգիստիկ եւ հումանիտար օգնություն» են տեղափոխել: Բեռնատարների զննման գործով կալանավորվել է 17 թուրք զինվորական, նաեւ Ադանայի նահանգի ժանդարմերիայի նախկին պետը եւ 4 դատախազ, այդ թվում՝ Ադանայի նախկին գլխավոր դատախազը:
