4. Նրանք թույլ չեն տալիս ուրիշներին վերահսկել իրենց հույզերը 
Հուզական ինտելեկտով մարդիկ զգայուն են, սակայն նրանք կարողանում են վերահսկել իրենց զգացմունքները։ Նրանք թույլ չեն տալիս մյուսներին բացասական ազդեցություն ունենալ իրենց օրվա վրա։ Նրանք սիրում են դրական հարաբերություններ պահպանել եւ կարող են արագորեն սթափվել բացասական հույզերի դրսեւորումներից։

5. Նրանք չեն մասնակցում անիմաստ վեճին 
Անհրաժեշտության դեպքում հուզականորեն խելացի մարդը կբախվի ինչ-որ մեկի հետ, սակայն նրանք հնարավորին չափ խուսափում են վեճերից՝ էներգիան ավելի դրական բաների վրա ծախսելու համար։

6. Նրանք չեն բամբասում 
Նման մարդիկ գիտեն, թե որքան վնասակար կարող են լինել բամբասանքները։ Նրանք հակված են ավելի դրական զրույցներ փնտրելու։ Նրանք մարդկանց հետ ավելի խորը կապեր են ցանկանում եւ խուսափում նրանցից, ովքեր մշտապես ցանկանում են բամբասել։

7. Նրանք չեն վախենում «ոչ» ասելուց 
Շատ մարդիկ են ամաչում «ոչ» ասել։ Արդյունքում՝ նրանք շատ պարտականություններ են ստանձնում։ Հուզականորեն խելացի մարդը գիտի իր սահմանները։ Նրանք իրենց հարգում են, սահմաններ գծում եւ անհրաժեշտության դեպքում «ոչ» ասելու համարձակություն ունենում։
